Worth the investment
I purchased two alarms four months ago to help protect my puppies from coyotes insistent on getting to them (pups are well and fine, now 7 mo old). Once set for alarm mode at night and placed into position, they worked very well for my purpose. I only had two spots on my courtyard wall that were low enough from the outside for coyotes to jump, so I placed both alarms in that location. One alarm was simply set on the wall itself, and the other was zip-tied to a pole outside the wall from where a past propane tank gas line had been run and no longer used - simple setup for placement. The alarm was triggered multiple times by the coyotes and appears to have stopped them from jumping my 6-foot outside perimeter fence (as noted by lack of territorial scat markings). I'm thankful to have found an inexpensive solution because the multiple motion sensor spot lights I have throughout the one-acre yard was not doing the trick! Of note, my puppies have also triggered the alarms, which scared them at first. They are no longer afraid of the alarms but steer clear because they don't like the sound, so I'm assuming it works the same way for feral animals, which means they will be trained to stay from a certain area but might try to find a different path. For the price, I am buying more alarms because I live in Arizona near the Mexico border and have a problem with illegals crossing my property and camping out on the two acres below, cutting my barbed wire fence and damaging my property. While I do not have neighbors really close like when living in a housing tract, sound carries here, so I will most likely only use a few alarms in select locations in alarm mode and try out the motion light function in other areas where the sound could bother my nearest neighbors. I doubt anything will stop illegals from coming through my property because it is an ongoing problem, but I'm hoping it deters them from having the time to cause further damage and feel comfortable enough to sleep below my windows!Things that might be questioned;Set up is fairly simple, but I was not successful in linking the remotes no matter what I tried - not a biggie on my part.Remote door needs to be slid down in order to find control buttons.Alarms did not function properly the first week due to needing to charge power again from electrical outlet. Once they were charged a second time, they have worked fine since off of solar. If you live in an area where the sun does not always shine brightly or the alarms are triggered frequently, they might need to be charged from electrical outlet.I have had multiple false alarms due to strong winds and strong rainstorms, which is most likely due to warm air swirling around with the temperature differences. Again, not a biggie where I live because I don't worry about the alarms bothering anyone (they can be annoying to you though). When triggered, the alarm will automatically shut off and go back into sensor mode after about 30 seconds. On one occasion, one of the alarms went a little whacko and kept going off for about 5 minutes. Thankfully, it re-set itself by the time I was going to go out to see why it wasn't shutting off. It appears to be working properly since that time. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and think it was a good buy because the alarms can be moved and used in different areas, so they will most likely be used until they no longer work (hopefully, not for a long time - but if not, still worth the price because they did what they were intended to do).Hope the information helps!

DISAPPOINTMENT
Had purchases 2 which worked great and was able to sync to use with one remote. Decided to order 6 more. 4 did not work with the remote at all, while the other 2 worked with the remote but could not sync both to work with one remote. Returning the 4 that do not work with the remote at all.The first 2 I bought worked great until I tried to sync these with the new ones I bought. Now they do not operate with the remote at all, so I have them placed where I have less need to operate them remotely.I like that these are solar and the alarm is loud. Just very disappointed about not being able to operate them remotely.Bottom line - these are good if you want to operate them manually with the push button on the back of the unit. But the remote is iffy...am waiting to see how long the ones I kept will work the remote. But forget about trying to sync them.Update: Seller replaced the 4 that did not work with 4 that did. While I still cannot use the remote on multiple units, they do work individually. I like these because they are loud and for my purpose does deter critters entering into my garden.

Economical and effective
Had and incident where MAGA cultists entered our yard and tore down and stole a Harris Walz 2024 banner over our garage door. Mounted this on a porch post so that no one can approach that area without setting off the alarm and flashing red light. It's not super loud but loud enough that we can easily hear it and respond appropriately. Remote works well and is best kept in your pocket so you can tap any button and shut it down easily. Holding down any button for 5 seconds shut the unit off which is handy. When mounting it somewhere insure that it gets as much sun as possible so it has a good charge and can function. I suggest that no one mess with the internal battery because it's a LiPo and if damaged can give you a small but fiery explosion and fire that you will NOT like. I've seen them go off in airsoft AEGs (guns) and it's a mess.To date the only times it goes off is when the family cats pass it or one of us trips it, but it's loud enough to alert us and easy enough to deal with by remote. After next Tuesday this will be a moot issue but I may redeploy it to a fence section to deter bears that have been raiding the neighbor's garbage can.

May not check all your boxes
Bought this and installed the unit about a week ago. First I really love the four separate settings and the distance of the pocket transmitter’s connection is amazing. I have the unit up about eight to nine feet high and positioned about 126 feet from my house and the transmitter easily connects with the unit. Installation was a breeze. I expected the alarm to be louder. I’ve not experienced an animals reaction to the alarm yet. I am sitting on the fence as to recommending the product to you at this time. You may noticed I did not mention anything about price, again I’m sitting on the fence but leaning to priced right.
