Works but smells revolting.
Works well, but man does it stink. We hung this on the outskirts of our front yard because we have a ton of flies this year. It caught a lot of flies, but the smell was so bad if I use it again, it will have to go a long way from the front yard. The smell is revolting and it is strong. If you don't have enough property to locate this a distance from your house, you might want to consider something else.

Works disgustingly well...
... and I mean disgusting. This thing attracts and traps flies like you wouldn't believe. Wait until you see this full of flies, maybe the worst thing ever, but if you want to trap flies, this is what you want.

Caught 5 flies and 1 cockroach in 4 weeks!
I don't know what went wrong here, but I purchased this for my outside birthday party. We have so many flies here it is ridiculous.Well, we set this up about 2 days before the party and we caught about 2 flies. When we had the party, the flies were all over the guests, and not 1 more fly was trapped in this thing. Then we went on vacation for 10 days and we left this thing on the patio, when we got back there were 2 more flies and one cockroach in there…. I have no idea where these great reviews come from. (Oh, plus this thing smells disgusting! And still doesn't attract anything…..)

It really stinks
Works as advertised. My only issue is how to empty when it needs to be refilled with a new scent package. While 90% of the flies will be dead, there are a lot of recent arrivals so I am not sure how to emplty without spreading lives flies.

Works if used right.
Works great. I catch all the neighbors flies and now I have no flies in my kitchen. I have to empty it out every 4 or 5 days. But you have to remember to leave at least an inch of flies to start catching the next batch of flies. Also I use 3 of the gallon size.

Keeps the biting flies away from the dog's paw
We have horses in the neighborhood that attract biting flies. They attack our dog's paw every summer. I was surprised how many flies this actually traps -- here's a photo a couple weeks after the attractant refill. I got the best results by using the entire 4 oz bottle of Fly Trap Attractant from the feed store, rather than just the recommended amount. This seems to work better than fly bait, insecticide, automatic sprayers, glue traps, and all of the other methods I've tried. I also like to use garlic & yeast supplement powder in the dog food which reduces the bites over time.

It's really an amazing product.
So many flies caught that I couldn't see the liqued inside the bottle anymore...But make sure to leave it in a sunny warm location.

It's fine
works but not as well as some others I have tried in the past, it is large so requires not much attention. Upper opening where the flies enter is a "pop-up" sort of thing that does not always stay open (if you aren't hang it) If you hang it that would hold it open by the wgt. of gravity
