Proforce "Designer Series" Mouthguard Cases - Rainbow

I ordered these cases for my Invisalign aligner trays. Anyone who has had invisalign for a while knows it's essential to have more than the two "official" aligner cases they give you when you start the treatment. I keep one in the car, one at work, one in the kitchen, and one in the bathroom.These cases do the job. I do wish you could pick the color. I got sent the super-rainbow one. I don't care about the color as much. But I'd just like it to be subtle if I have to take it out in public. Then I don't have to deal with the "what's in the plastic thing?" questions. Obviously, these are made more for the typical retainer wearer (i.e. a pre-teen or teenager) and not for a 30 year old professional. I'd prefer to just buy a simple black one.Pros:-Plenty of room for a pair of aligners and even a floss pick-Seems pretty durable-Has a few small holes in the bottom to allow any water to drain out and allow it to dry out while closedCons:-Can't select the color-A little on the bulky side if you're going to carry this in your pocket, would be nice if the edges were more rounded off-The hinge is just thin plastic. I can foresee that this will eventually break after several open/close actions.

I ordered the rainbow color, because they were the only ones that came w/Prime shipping and I needed them fast. I had the clear ones that the ortho gave me, but I was going on vacation and I had finally gotten my (adult) braces off after 4 years and I needed something for my purse. I bought 2, because I'm also a college student, so a backup for purse and backpack. I actually use these now at home and use the clear ones for backups, but I think I may just buy 2 more of these and toss the cheap clear ones in the cupboard. These do not have holes in them, so if you want to soak your retainers you can. You will need to clean them out once in awhile, I found out from getting wet inside they can get a little funky. I just pour some of the denture cleaner in them when I'm soaking my retainers and let it sit. Heavy duty, thick plastic, and snap tight. The rainbow color is also really pretty! Both came w/different swirl patterns/colors.

I ordered 2 of these and it would have been so nice if they'd sent two different colors... but no. Two of the same. I have a mouth guard AND invisalines for top and bottom. So I ordered the two. I don't really care what they look like... I two I got were a muddled white and teal mostly. They will work. They are an average/typical size. Good for storage only, not for cleaning with water and the tablets you can buy. Just in case you thought you'd might try that.

Functionally, it’s great. Not super happy with the stickers on each side as it wasn’t displayed this way in the product photos and they won’t cleanly peel off. But does the job nonetheless.

Left my night guard in a hotel room - found out replacement was $465.00!! Called the hotel and recovered this expensive oversight in packing to return home. My case was the opaque clear one from the dentist - probably why I did not notice it on the shelf in the hotel bathroom. Ordered one of these just to, hopefully, get a really BRIGHT color. The selection was random and I got a white one with blue swirls. Would have preferred the green, hot pink, or red. Anyway, the case is substantial, tight snap closure, and half the depth of the original case I was using. Fits my dental night guard perfectly. There are no drain holes, so it could be used to soak the appliance. However, my guard came with explicit instructions "wash ONLY with mild soap and water." I definitely recommend one of these for its compact size, performance, and potential "eye-catching" design.

I have purchased these in the past - in solid colors and they had the name/id label on bottom. I didn't like the attached label as it got all messed up when washing the case. The newest version has terrible swirly colors but also had a very sticky top label as well - impossible to get adhesive off, even with alcohol or acetone. Will not buy these ever again. They also have no air holes and get moldy inside even with regular washing. Other cases are available at same or better prices that allow you to choose to put on id label and they are much easier to keep clean. I would not recommend this case any longer.

I really love the look of my rainbow case, I just wish it had drainage holes.

I just got a new night guard and thought I'd try to find a snazzy case to go with it (it's blue). So trust Amazon to have one. I ordered the rainbow one and really like it. The dentist's office only gives out solid colors so this is really much more fun. Seems to be as durable as the ones from the dentist, but no drainage holes.
