First off I'll say the claim by the listing/manufacturer that these are "leak proof" is false and I don't even know how you could say that they are with absolutely no type of seal, it is literally just a plastic cap and small glass bottle. That said, the first bottle I tried leaked as I thought it would, but two wraps around the treads with plumbers tape fixed it no problem. I'm just going to do that from now on. I think even if you had one that didn't leak, plastic contracts and expands depending on temperature so there is a possibility of it leaking later on unless you seal it properly. It was 74 cents for a roll for some peace of mind, just do it.The glass is good and clear, they are a good size for a relatively wide array of specimens, and the plastic cap means there will be no corrosion or evaporation of storage chemicals like you have with cork and metal. The glass is also relatively thick and good quality. I didn't have any break during shipping.

These are nice small jars for element sample storage.

I purchased these vials for use in creating a specimen collection of aquatic invertebrates. I teach a course of field stream macroinvertebrates to young budding scientists that focuses on the systems integration of aquatic life with the natural environment. I preserve spiders in these and they’ve taken some falls and haven’t broken yet. The glass is great and clear. Nothing to complain about.

These work well if you need vials to contain whatever. But they are overpriced for what they are. I could get a much better deal (per vial) from a lab supply store, but those places typically only sell larger numbers in a package. Plus I like the convenience of Amazon.This is an example of when I’m willing to overpay a little, for convenience.

I like the small size, I make my own herbal capsules an don't like bringing them all at once. These little vials hold 10 double oo capsules, an carry them everywhere.

I like how sturdy they feel. The delivery took a while but luckily I wasn't in a rush.

My wife uses these bottles to store essential oils. Good seal. As they are glass, be careful as they are breakable as she discovered when she dropped one on the kitchen tiles

Excellent little bottles. The only thing that was strange is that the white label looking patch on the front of each bottle is just white glass, so I don't have any pens that work on glass. It wasn't a big deal - I just put labels of my own on them. But the size and the seal on the screw on tap is excellent
