ICD-10-PCS: The Complete Official Draft Code Set 2014 Draft 2014th Edition

This is an invaluable resource for a coder as working on an Encoder is great, but going back to basics is so important when learning a new classification system! I'm taking AHIMA distance Ed courses and although they do not require you to have books, I could not see doing the courses without a paper book. I'm old school and like to have an actual book in hand. Arrived quickly and was a good value. I'd recommend purchasing your ICD10 books through Amazon!

Having to learn a whole new system is exhausting, and all the hospitals and companies we work for are having us all do a ton of prep work to learn the system before it finally goes into effect. The training is fine, but we need books to get it all into our heads.

I am taking my first coding class this semester, and this book is really nice. Its colorful and makes building the codes easy. I am new coding, so I am glad to be using something that is well organized, and is of great use in conjunction with the 2014 ICD-10-PCS: applied approach textbook.

The book is still considered a draft. The errata that was published in the CMS website has not been corrected in this version .

I love how they have the coding guidelines in the book in such detail. The body part key is such a help as well. I just how this book is set up! Very easy to use.

I would highly recommend this version of ICD-10-PCS by Optum. I have used Optum code books for several years. They are always very accurate, and would highly recommend.
