Works with the free version of Pedable
Use VLC coupled with the free Pedable software I'm able to listen, and update any notes I've taken during a recorded call. I like that you can assign the pedals to tell VLC to skip back, skip forward, stop or (re-)start the playback. With VLC able to play back audio faster than real-time, I have the ability to quickly listen past unimportant parts, but then stop and skip back a few seconds to catch a comment made, all the while keeping my hands on the keyboard has been a great productivity booster.

Great pedal. Works like a charm
This product works very well as advertised. I've used it for 2 plus years without a hitch. Very heavy and quite solid. Sometimes wish it were wireless, but the cord is long enough that I don't have a problem most of the time, unless it gets tangled up with other transcription equipment, which is rare.

These pedals keep breaking!
I bought this set of foot pedals in 2013 and used them very often until 2022 when they just stopped working. I figured it's been nine years, so I guess it's time to buy new ones. So I spent another $100 or so to buy new ones which only lasted one year. They broke again in June of 2023. GRRR. Every time they just stop working, I have to miss several days of work until the new ones get here. The third set of food pedals only lasted eight months. I am doing nothing differently since the first set I bought in 2013. In fact, I probably use them less. The little prongs inside the USB port break off so they won't connect to my laptop. I don't know if they are being more cheaply made or something, but I think it's expensive to have to spend $100 (now every eight months) to have working foot pedals to do my job. When they work, they do work great without any problems. I just wish I knew why the USB port keeps breaking and wish there was a way to repair the broken USB. Of course, it's outside the window for returns. So I went straight to the manufacturer website this time to order my FOURTH set and hoping it lasts a little longer than a few months!

Works well; needs some printed instructions.
This foot pedal works well, however be prepared to have to work to install it, as there was no accompanying printed instructions, only a cd, which contains a great deal of other stuff.

This is the ONLY pedal to use.
This product is wonderful. It’s heavy, precise, plug in ready, and works wonderful with Express Scribe Pro transcription work no had an infinity pedal and it was a mess. Go with this pedal for your dictation/transcription needs

WORTH WAITING FOR!
I AM A TRANSCRIBER OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS WHO HAS ALSO RESCUED TWO DOGS AND FIVE CATS, ALL VERY HAIRY. MY OLD FOOT PEDAL WOULD GET STUCK, NOT BACK UP WHEN FOOT LEFT THE CENTER PEDAL, AND I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE A STRAIGHTENED-OUT PAPERCLIP TO DIG OUT THE FUR TO GET IT RESPONDING AGAIN. SO WHEN I SAW ON MY SEARCH FOR A NEW FOOT PEDAL, AND SAW HOW CLOSED-IN IT WAS -- WHICH WOULD MOST ASSUREDLY CUT DOWN ON THE TRAPPED PET HAIR, i COULDN'T WAIT TO GET IT. FROM A TRANSCRIBING STANDPOINT, IT IS A GODSEND!

This makes my life so much better!
I have certain projects where I need to do a lot of dictation - 20 to 40 hours worth. This makes cut my time in HALF and lets me stay in the groove of transcribing since my heads never have to leave the keyboard and my brain doesn't have to switch contexts to run software.
