Enjoyable!
I had never heard of this and wanted to try it. I open both ends of the can to push the bread through- I loosen it with a spatula knife first, making it much easier to push out. I serve it toasted and buttered with my breakfast tea -it is a great compliment to my tea and has become a delightful part of my morning.

Prepper trying something new to add to the pantry.
Trying out and looking for different products for my prepping items. This was one of the items, so first time taster. Opened up the top and bottom of the can to push the bread out. You can smell the molasses, so you better like molasses. It's a heavy compact, moist, bread, not light and fluffy. Eating it untoasted, not great, there is no toaster, no microwave, so by itself no, with butter better, jam ok, honey better, with spam better. Using spam because it's in the prepping canned items, no refrigerator, for lunch meat or cream cheese. Is it worth it for prepping, not sure about long term storage, but a year if it has a fresh date. In short, it might come in handy, if ever the need arises.

Brown Bread
Being from Maine, I grew up on this Brown Bread! However, I have been in the South for over 40 years and it’s hard to find! I ordered this and was not disappointed!! Delicious!!! Will be ordering more!

Not great bread, but hey - it's canned
Got these out of pure curiosity to take on a camping trip. Honestly I was expecting a lot worse - these are edible. Are they as good as fresh bread? Of course not! But it will keep for a long time without getting stale or moldy. The bread itself is sort of like a molasses bread - somewhat sweet, with almost a cake like texture. Be careful when trying to heat it, especially if on a griddle like I did. Because of the sugar content it does burn easily if you cook it too fast or too hot.On our camping trip the opinions were fairly evenly split - about half the camp didn't care for it, and about half the camp like it. Overall it was a worthwhile addition our meal that night though. I could also see it serving a nice niche as an emergency food too. After all, what other bread will keep for years?

Ordered 4 cans and 2 are badly dented.
Well I ordered 4 cans and two of them had good size dents. They were dented at the same place in the plastic wrapping. I guess I could send them back, but I don’t know if that’s a good idea as it could be costly and may not be worth the money to do that. I know it seems like it’s not a big deal although the dents are not small. But dented cans can allow air into them and I don’t want to open them only to find out that air did get to them and went bad. I would gladly send them back for un-dented cans though. So I don’t know what to expect out of these cans. But they are really dented, but still a good idea to keep on hand, just not dented.
