Excellent Value, Very Reflective, Adjustable, but designed to fit large bodies better
It's a little bulky on my small frame (I am 5'5" tall, weigh 112) because the adjustable straps and hardware are a bit bulky and wide for a small person, but it is adjustable and fits well, is comfortable, and highly reflective. I use it for cycling. It does not obstruct my motion or make me sweaty. I like the way it looks, and it definitely glows. I feel much safer when I wear this for my night rides. I bought one for my husband too, so I can see how well it reflects when I ride behind him. It glows bright even when lit only by my dim bike light. I only dropped down a star (4 instead of 5) because for my small frame, having the harness adjusted to almost the smallest setting is a little bit awkward, because center the big X in the back where the straps cross over ends up right at the base of the back of my neck and the two big black sliders end up right on top of my shoulders. The excess strap length gets neatly tucked away, but the straps end up doubled up (not a big deal, but when it's hot, the extra material feels a little thick). I think it will be an easy fix to cut off the excess straps, reposition the X and re-stitch the straps to the band. No big deal. I will use the excess reflective strapping to create more safety gear (maybe some stretchy bands for my ankles and wrists), so I'm actually happy it adjusts to such a large size, because I can make use of the excess strapping.

Safety First!
I'm usually leary of products that have a lot of 5 star reviews and consider them as paid advertisements. I can tell you I purchased mine after comparing various models on amazon and decided to go with this one because of all the varying photos and reviews. Also, I was kind of worry about the color as some look "bright yellow" and others look "bright green". The one I received is a bright green, but I also purchased some yellow reflective arm bands so I can compare the colors. It appears this "bright green" flourescent color looks better in my opinion (in the day time). I primarily purchased this suspender vest to wear while I walk at night. I walk at night because I'm in an area where many older folks walk their dogs in the day and I hate when dogs try to attack you (even while on their leash), so I walk at night when most of the older folks are inside with their dogs. This vest is awesome! It SO BRIGHT when illuminated so I don't have to worry so much about getting hit with a vehicle or even somebody riding their bike. After almost getting hit 3 times this fall I decided I better get something other than a flashlight and I'm glad I decided to get this. I plan now to get one to keep in my vehicle even though I have one of those old orange construction vest behind the rear seat of my truck, I think these are a lot better. Between the arm bands and this vest, I'm set to roam the streets at night :D

Pretty good!
Overall I like this vest more than the other reflective vest I have but I agree with some of the other reviewers in that it does ride up some. I think this is mostly on people with smaller frames however because my husband wore it once and had no problems. I have narrow shoulders and a short waist so I have to adjust it to almost the smallest size on the shoulder straps to get it to fit properly and it does feel a little bulky. However, once I get into my run I really don't notice it. I also have a running belt that I wear to hold my phone (the whole belt/vest outfit combo is as fashionable as it sounds!) and it interferes a little bit with that but not by a ton. All in all, I can't really think of a design that WOULD work without some irritation for smaller framed people. If the vest was snug enough that it never moved then I think I would feel like I couldn't breath and the other vest I have is all once piece of nylon or something and it's far from snug, but constantly gets twisted. I think this is the best compromise. Also, the reflective area seems like good quality and I think it will last for awhile. The reflective material on the other vest I have has started to wear off over time and I can tell this vest is made of much better material than that.

A great vest for all situations, though full coverage reflective vests or jackets are much more visible.
I got this for my wife to use while commuting on her bicycle. While I think full jackets and even vests are much superior in terms of visibility ( I use a vest), my wife has an extra small frame so it is difficult to find a regular vest in her size.Fit: This vest is highly adjustable, so it can fit probably fit anyone except for people who extra extra large sizes (see other comments and reviews for more info about large fit). My wife usually wears women's extra small and it fits her fine and could probably go even smaller. She can wear this both over jackets and with just a t-shirt.Durability: The material seems very durable and the buckle is easy to work and strong.Visibility: While I think more bright area is better, this is a good option for those who want more versatility than a reflective jacket or have trouble finding clothing that fits. The reflective strip works very well when cars shine their lights on her and the bright green helps in the daytime as well. Conclusion: This is a great versatile option for being seen in all weather, since it can be worn over any clothing. It is easy to put on and take off and will fit just about anyone. If you can make a full bright jacket or vest work, then those are better, but this does everything it is intended to do.

It's like having a can of "car repellent"
I bought this because I'm a paranoid mother and my teenagers like to walk around in the dark. We live near everything and walk to the store. They gave me guff at first and said it was "Dorks United". But they've gotten used to it and will now walk in the store with it on. I wear one too, over my fluffy coat. I've noticed that cars stop a LOT farther away from us than they used to. They can obviously see us a HUGE distance sooner and they give us a wide berth. I can tell it's working by the car behavior. Usually cars don't see people in the dark even with streetlights. We're used to avoiding cars, but now the cars avoid us.The straps are adjustable from gigantic to pulled down all the way it's only slightly loose on the kids. I wear it over my big fluffy winter coat. I'm very pleased with the quality. It's easy to throw on, the straps don't seem to twist like I had wondered if they would.
