I'm confused on its tools. What do I get for the price of $415? Is it necessary to buy additional tools?

I don't know your situation so I can't comment on whether you need to buy additional tools. My Dyson V6 Animal came with the large direct drive cleaner head pictured, a smaller direct drive head, a crevice too, a soft brush tool and a hard brush tool. The large direct drive tool works great on carpets and ceramic tile floors. It really picks up the dog hair and dirt. I recently bought the Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool for the wood floors. THe rotating brush is immobilized by long hair. Now the brush attachment no longer 'opens' with a screw driver. Any solutions?

omg...I have a long hair 150# dog...I use this Dyson daily...just turn the brush over and pull the hair out manually....it comes off the roller very easily...

Does it work with both 110V and 220V?

The charger is 110-240v , just like most laptops these days. The prongs are standard USA 2 pin but you could just as easily but it into an adapter and use on any 110-240 electrical system socket just like any laptop.

Is the battery removable? Can I buy an extra to always have one charged or for bigger cleaning jobs?

Actually, technically yes the battery CAN be fairly easily replaced with a freshly charged battery. Spare replacement batteries can be found on Amazon as well as spare charger cables. The battery does not need to be in the vacuum to be charged if you have a spare charger or if your charger cable is not mounted inside the wall mount bracket. Two small screws and the battery pops out and is easily replaced. Not as convenient as a snap-in battery, but a workable option for those who want the superior qualities of the Dyson V6 with HEPA filter and super-strong suction. Also, the lower power setting is fine for 80% of the time, which gives a full 20 minutes of run time per battery.
