The hose is very lightweight and stored in a small space. I have mine in a flowerpot. It stretches out to full length pretty quickly. It does take a little time for it to retract/collapse. And as it retracts there is a lot of water left in it so whoever uses it should take that into account. I shut off the water flow and then still have enough as it retracts to water some plants. But so far this hose has been way better than previous similar type hoses. When these type hoses 1st came out a few years back I bought one and it blew up within 15 seconds. Then the replacement for it lasted about 5 minutes! So I was wary of buying this one but reviews convinced me to try it. So far so good. I would buy again.

I've been super happy with this hose. It's a flexible hose so it will not stand up to any kind of abuse like a rubber hose, I've never seen one that will but if you take care of it, I see this one holding up to light residential duty for years.The included carry bag is a nice accessory and one of the reasons I went with this one.The included spray nozzle is nothing special but does what it's supposed to and a nice bonus for this price.The hose itself is great quality with brass fittings, not plastic and it absolutely is 50 feet when fully extended but only 18 feet when drained. I mainly use it for my pressure washer and it has performed like a champ with no leaking or tearing.If you need a nice lightweight hose that you can fit in the included carry bag, take anywhere and get for a great price then I highly recommend this one.

I LOVE these hoses - they are very lightweight even when on and filled with water. I love the valve near the spray nozzle at the end. If you want to take off the spray nozzle, you can turn the valve to stop the flow and not have to go back to the spigot to turn of the water and then back on. Super convenient! I have had one get a leak, and did send it back for a refund. I'm not sure yet about the longevity of these. It is probably not as good as a heavy duty hose because of the fiber/fabric it is made out of. But if it lasts a few seasons, it would be worth the price to me to not have to lug around a heavy hose!

we've bought serveral differentiations of this type of stretchy hose. while it's great, but typically last only 1-1.5yrs before it starts to breakdown and leak. of course stepping on it or having kids rolling over the hose wouldn't help either.however, this one is by far the worse out of the 3 previously purchased. all 50ft, but this one the stretch was bad and the worse part is even when i turn on the spigot all the way, the water pressure was weak. previous brands i didn't have to turn it on all the way even a half turn of the spigot i would get plenty of pressure when using Jet mode. disappointed.

Haven't used it very often, but when I went outside this morning saw that there was water around the hose. Looked closer and there was a small crack in the hose where water was spraying out, just a light stream, but of course that isn't supposed to happen. The hose hasn't been through a winter or any harsh conditions, and it is already split and basically useless! Bought it end of the month April it is start of the month October, so used it for 5 months and it is trash!!!!! Highly would not recommend this product!

What I liked - easier to use than the heavy 30 year old hose and when turned off fits in a bucket. The price was right. Easier to store than the old hose.What I don't like - it's not a coil- it's kind spaghetti mess. I don't find a way to turn off the spray attachment when I'm moving from one place to another. It's fabric outer layer snags when carried across my concrete sidewalk or driveway.

I have encountered problems upon first use, and it is certainly not well designed for using with any hose reel.Pros:light weight, good price, has a on/off switch built-inCons:Elastic hose will expand/shrink when you switch on and off, so when you keep it on hose reel, it gets entangled up pretty badly making it extremely difficult to use.Had doubts with the quality of the materials, it has numerous tiny hair-like fiber falling out upon first use

The product is as described and is lightweight and contracts when you let the water out. It is disappointing that the connection from hose to the nozzle leaks. I bought two of them and have the same experience with both.
