248903 Automotive High Heat Spray Paint, 12 oz, Flat Black

I purchased this high heat clear spray specifically to seal my diamond art pieces, and it has worked beautifully. I use it on hotplates that I make for personal use and as gifts, and the finish it provides is exactly what I was hoping for. It goes on evenly with a smooth spray and doesn’t leave behind a cloudy or heavy coating. Once dry, it gives a nice protective layer that helps keep the diamonds in place without dulling their shine. I was especially pleased that it didn’t cause any discoloration or damage to the adhesive or drills. Another thing I appreciate is how durable the finish feels. It holds up well and gives me confidence that the pieces I gift will last and stay looking nice over time. Overall, this has become a reliable part of my crafting process. If you’re looking for a clear sealant that protects without taking away from the sparkle, this is a great option.

I do not know why my Honda Rebel came with a chrome exhaust but this fixed that real quick. A quick sand and a couple coats and it turned out perfect. It handles the heat really well too since I ride for hours at a time and that exhaust gets seriously hot. Looks amazing now and for the price it is a great fix.

As someone who builds "Alpha/Romeo 14+1 pew pews" (IYKYK) I wanted something scratch resistant and rust proof to protect my yeet tubes. Cold bluing is ok, but leaves the steel still vulnerable to moisture and surface rusting. Since the yeet tubes will be subjected to a ton of heat, I chose this particular product. Couldn't be happier. 3 coats went on super smooth, dried evenly somewhere in the ballpark of semi-satin (?) ...less than satin, but not quite dead flat. Zero runs, dries fast, and way better than a lot of other brands I've tried. I think I'll be using this product on all of my boomstock yeet tubes from now on. Couldn't be happier! Professional look, finish, and texture at a fraction of professional smithing costs!! I even recommended this to a bunch of my outdoor enthusiast buddies and vet friends! Now they plan to do the same! Pros: even coverage, smooth finish, near-flat like I wanted, zero runs, cheap and easy, dries fast, easy application, durable and more scratch,/rust resistance than cold bluing Cons: -(/) Just do it if you're a 2A supporter who enjoys slinging lead.

I've noticed that when you're applying the clear coat to polished steel it's best to make sure it's done with a vey low humidity level, or water vapour in the air can get trapped when its applied causing the metal to rust under the clear coat. Other than that lesson learned, it's working great for the exhaust system.

This paint worked well for my application. Here's some additional notes on what I found: Pros: - The paint applied very well, thoroughly, and easily. I really like that it has the sprays upside down feature to it. It made my job far easier. - I followed the directions and made sure to apply many thin coats versus one thick coat. This made the coverage very uniform. - My job was quite small (a muzzle break for my hunting rifle), but there seems to still be a ton of paint left in the can. Neutral: - Make sure you note that there's a curing process for this paint. 250 degrees for 30 minutes, cool for 30 mins, 400 degrees for 30 minutes, cool for 30 minutes, 600 degrees for 30 minutes, and finally cool for 30 minutes. Alternatively, there are directions for curing parts that can't be removed form your car/bike. Cons: - I didn't see, prior to purchase, any mention of the heating and cooling cycle to cure the paint. The break I'm using can't easily be removed from the rifle, so I'm hoping that the paint will cure with some shooting time at the range. (This could have totally been an oversight on my part). Overall, I am happy with this paint. I have not had the opportunity to test its longevity in my application. Time will tell. I will update this review if I have any negative experiences. This paint is amazing. It covers very well. Looks very smooth and applies a lot. I am very happy with it. It made my rotors look much better than you my tip to you is put the spray paint in a bucket of hot water and your coverage when you spray it will look a lot smoother and better and professional.

I have a gas fireplace and after 20 yrs, on the inner frame around the glass, the paint started to peel. Looked bad, wife mad. So did a lot of looking to try and match the paint color and ended up with this paint. Mistake, this paint is flat and my fireplace has a low/medium smooth finish not flat but not glossy. That is what I would have done different is try to find a low or medium glass instead of flat. When I stripped the paint on that frame I seen the manufacturer did not prep the surface, it had a vary smooth steel finish. I wondered how the original paint did not peel up sooner. I sand blasted the frame with coarse media, so the new paint would stick and sprayed on 2 medium coats. Looks great aside from the vary slight difference in finish and the color is not a perfect match. This paint being flat and the paint on the fireplace having a smooth low gloss finish. The difference is noticeable but does not look bad. Wife happy, life is back to being good.. lol. Of course it is holding up well so far, only a month and handling the heat of the fireplace so far, but I can not comment on longevity or endurance. I'll update this review in 20 yrs.

Best ever product. Very good for rusted exhaust pipe and exhaust muffler. Just clean whole exhaust unit and apply one coat first. After 20 minutes apply second coat. Definetly valve for money product.

We used it on our bbq smoker and the paint came out after few mins Order 20 qty spray out of 4 didnt work. 0 out of 10 product

the product is exactly what I was needing. I was not able to find this anywhere at stores near me. It works as advertised and looks good!
