Want a totally different Dice Tray?
I've been using one of those hexagon-shaped trays for a long time. So long, in fact, that one of the snaps to hold it together finally 'snapped'. Sure - it still works. But I was looking for something even cooler looking. I stumbled onto this gem by accident and ordered it right away! Just got done putting it together today! First, the mildly bad news - there are a few places in the one-page instructions where what I was supposed to do was a little unclear. But some careful test fitting and putting similarly marked pieces together helped a lot! The result? It will look awesome on my gaming table instead of the same type of thing everyone else uses. Some familiarity with other wooden self-built products will help too! Can't wait to see what everyone else thinks!

Sturdy and Fun Castle Dice Tray
The media could not be loaded. This castle dice tray is well worth the purchase! It comes with two additional wooden characters that are randomized in each box, so my brother and I got different characters.Packaging was done well, and the directions make assembly easy to follow. The top of the towers are the trickiest part to assemble. While trying to fit it on a chunk of wood chipped off, but thankfully they had an extra one in the box to replace it. Be gentle when reaching that part, and make sure you have it facing the direction you like before attempting to fit it in.But, my absolute favorite part was painting the castle tray! I used acrylic paints to mix and match my favorite shades of grey for the walls and floors. The dragon's eye was the hardest part, but I found that having the base coat of light purple then layering on the other lines of color while still wet gave the desired look. Took me about 6 months of my free time to paint, but really worth it in the end!If you are thinking about getting this, I strongly suggest it! If you want to be crazy like me and patchwork the castle walls be aware that the bricks are super tiny, so you'll need a fine tipped paintbrush. Otherwise it you're painting it one color a regular brush works just as well. Happy gaming!

Quality Dice Box!
I was a little nervous to purchase a flat-pack wood puzzle, but the price and look of the completed project were too enticing to resist. Glad I gave it a go! It took about 15 minutes to put it together, mostly because the last few parts are a tight fit. The finished resultis sturdy and beautiful. I love that piece easily doubles as a small arena for tabletop minis, too!

Looks cool but VERY frustrating to put together & tray surface is uneven
I'm no stranger to models and puzzles, but this was painstaking. Several pieces were warped and a few of the tabs and/or slots were miscut so I had to use a lot of force putting it all together. The instructions were not very clear (the video isn't really any better as it's all in fast-forwarded without telling you which piece is which). Every tower top piece split from being too tight of a fit.In addition, the graphic is cool in the center of the tray, except it's cut into the wood, not just surface burned like the tiwer top pieces, making it a big uneven surface for dice.Ultimately looks really cool, but kinda useless if your gaming group requires even surfaces for rolling.

Awesome
First, it comes with a free miniature token made out of the same balsa plywood. Yes, this is made from balsa plywood. Don't let that deter you. The way this is constructed helps promote sturdiness and functionality. Also, there is a certain joy I get from rolling the dice on this tray. The click clack of dice on wood? Oddly soothing. Great center piece for your tabletop adventures, as well!

I absolutely love this tray!
I really love this dice rolling tray, it was easy to put together and took about 20 minutes. You do have to be gentle putting it together but pretty sturdy and looks so amazing! I would totally buy this as a gift too. You can also stain it a different color or paint it too. I’ll post more pictures when I do so. I can’t wait to use it this Sunday to play D&D. The only thing I would say is if there could be more identifying marks on it for the instructions, but you can figure it out if you pay attention enough. I also found some dice and a dice bag that matches the look. So happy with this.

Bought 2; one perfect, one not
I bought two of these for my Kids D&D game; one went together perfectly, sits flat, and is great; the other was harder, wobbles, and is mediocre. Ironically, the second one I put together is the bad one, so I can't even chalk it up to learning mistakes. It's just the risk of mass-cut wood products. Many fit great, but once in a while you get a weird, wobbly one. I've bought other items from this store, and they've all been great, if somewhat hard to discern the instructions. Overall, I'd recommend it. It looks cool and the kids like it. The wobble just bothers me, like a chair with on leg too short.
