Daughter loves emulating the movie with this! Kit has been updated, no clay!
There is obviously an updated version (which I have received) and an old version that comes with clay for his feet to attach instead of the plastic inset you get which was the one big complaint before. So just so everyone knows, you'll get the newer plastic one!It was really easy to put together, easy enough for my four-year-old to do practically by herself, we even wrote her name on the bottom how Bonnie did. (Remember, she broke her name up on both sticks) we just wrote on one but it's cute either way, just was hard to fit. I mostly wanted to leave a review to give my tip on gluing forkies legs into the plastic fake clay part. Our daughter wanted to cuddle him, play with him, everything, just like Bonnie. So the legs kept falling out and ruining the moment so we glued it with Elmer's (I told my hubby it wouldn't work) it held for one day. Then I, the ever so smart wife, used super glue, and it has stayed since! The rest of the kit was updated as someone complained you have to have a green pom for bunnies belly but it's already colored in how the pictures show the new kit. We actually only made forky and the buzz paper thing, we're saving bunny and ducky for another craft time so I can't speak on how easy those are but it looks fun. Daughter definitely loves her forky and this is waaaaay better than those cheapo kits you'll see around if you search for a forky kit.So basically, ignore the old reviews, they fixed everything from that old kit, they really need to remove the old pictures then!

Forky
I was having a hard time finding an actual forky. So I thought you know what this would be the second best thing, and I could spend some time with my son and 11, so I can't wait. That's very good quality, and it comes with everything you need to make a porky, and it has instructions, and it also makes right? A couple other toys. And he would be the size of forky that you would think he would be.

Love Forky and crafts
Good toy it’s DIY the wax sticks keep falling off so I will have to use a sharpie the googly eyes are fun the Play-Doh is plastic but we keep breaking it we had to tape the plastic Play-Doh sticks were cool the rainbow won’t stick so I had to draw a rainbow overall, it is an amazing great cool toy

As described
Cute! This is going to be such nice gift! FYI, it did not come in the packaging that is shown in the first picture. It came in a cardboard box. I'm okay with that but the packaging in the 1st photo would've been cute!

Very pleased!
I was worried this would come with the molding clay for his “feet”, as some people’s came with it, and some came with a rubber plastic type with pre cut slits to stick his popsicles stick feet in,so you didnt have to worry about letting clay dry. As little ones want to play with it right away and it falls apart and even after the clay drys it can fall apart. I was VERY happy to see it came without the molding clay. I think the company revised that feature and also seen the error in the molding clay. . Yes it makes forky more realistic in looks but not durable for play. so if that’s your worry I wouldn’t worry to much I think you’ll be fine to order and not get the clay. I like the rubbery/ hard plastic (I say rubbery because it has a bit of a rubbery feel to the outside of it to make it feel more like clay but it’s hard and durable like plastic if that makes sense) it comes with sticky like glue on the eyes but I knew they would not stay on for long so I put a dab of hot glue on forkeys eye sockets and let my little one put the googley eyes on the glue and press down, it makes it more secure and we know it won’t fall off. Also I put a dab of hot glue on forkeys stem where his “arms” (red pipe cleaners) go and let my little one wrap it around the glue and let her press is down with a spare popsicle stick to secure it in place to make sure his arms don’t go anywhere either. The feet are really snug in the precut sockets so there was no need for glue there the wax eyebrows and mouth we did also but a small amount of glue that took some finessing and very little almost cooled down glue as to not melt the wax but we got it. Otherwise they for sure do not stay on. Overall I am very happy with the project and so is my little one. I by the way as you can tell did decide to ditch the glue they give you as I found it to be cheap glue that I didn’t think would work well for long term. My little is not rough on toys and she takes good care of them so they last a long time for her. I know some kids aren’t so it doesn’t matter if the toy doesn’t last a long time but I knew if we built this to last for her it would last. All the materials are of really good quality just the glue and such to keep it together was not so I made it better for lasting with other things.

GREAT FORKY KIT!
I’m giving this kit 3 stars because my kids were so happy to do the duck and bunny craft, and were left disappointed. And so was I. The glue was not strong enough to glue the pieces together. The googly eyes didn’t stay. Even Elmer’s glue didn’t work. Forky was probably the best craft in the box. I loved how the modeling clay was actually plastic they can put the sticks into. I’ve never worked with wax sticks but they held up surprisingly well on forky’s face for the mouth and eyebrows. I think the price is reasonable because forky is a pretty decent size. And it being a Disney toy as well. They should just sell the forky craft by itself. I feel like they added the other crafts to try and make up for the price.

Obsessed
My 2.5 year old is obsessed with this kit, especially the Forky. We put everything together right away, and she hasn't put the Forky down at all. The glue doesn't hold to the pompoms very well, so I may have to try other glue. Everything is simple to put together, but there are some extra pieces, so instructions are included. The Forky is much bigger than any of us anticipated, but it's honestly perfect. Everything is great quality.
