It works
47 years of sharpening tools often to razor perfection. The one item that has eluded this level of sharpness for me is cheap kitchen knives. Metal softened to prevent rusting makes for frustrating sharpening. This tool makes the task satisfying and quick. Sorry it took so long to find it. One note if you are inexperienced at sharpening . Always maintain the same angle [knife to sharpener] and you will get the hang of it.

This a 2 sided course sharpener. I wanted a 3 sided course, medium, fine sharpener.

Good product at a reasonable price, it functions well and it shipped on time, job well done. Note that even diamond grit tends to wear down with usage, if the top of the oval surface gets smooth, angle it over a bit towards the edges. Best to use slow, deliberate strokes with a consistent knife angle as you go. Does great touch ups on my knives.

Great for sharpening hunting and fillet knives. The inserts in the handle aren't flush enough creating a sharp edge.

Great Product! Does the Job
This is a great product!!! Highly recommend using it!!! It is designed for about 20 degree angle. However, if you adjust the knife a bit ( at about 15 degree), it will sharpen the knife really well!!!

Quality sharpener at a good price
I have purchased two of these already...one for myself and one for my mother. She actually has sharp knives now. Easy to use and quick. Would make good gifts.
