Educational Arts BH2 Bench Hook 300x400mm

I purchased this as a guide to help me fold paper for my bookbinding and I absolutely love it! Having a stable surface to push the paper edges against makes all the difference in folding the signatures straight. I highly recommend it for this purpose.

I was hesitant to buy this bench hook based on some bad reviews, but I needed one because my projects need to be secure against something for me to get even lines. I took the chance & bought it & I'm glad I did. It locks into place & the edge pieces are not crooked, which is why I needed a bench hook in the first place.

This is made of fiberboard but feels sturdy. It does everything it is supposed to ie keep a frame steady, but also is great protecting the table from getting dirty and enables me to get a little sloppy from time to time. Good buy for a reasonable price

I LOVE IT! Very well constructed and sturdy. Very smartly designed to also be used by a left handed person. The base has two additional holes on the right hand side so that one can unscrew the long side wall and screw back on on the right hand side, hence a left handed person can also use it.

The product was assembled crooked, and the paper is not at a true right angle when placed in the bench hook. It's literally the only purpose of this product so it's basically useless. I am returning the product. This also speaks to poor quality control when it only takes a glance and one second to immediately see that it is defective.

All the corners were crushed. I was expecting a little more solid, but it’s got a cardboardy like texture. I was hoping for something, at least in good condition, that would be able to hold up to the demands of my printmaking class.

Very flimsy and it was already bucked, swollen, and coming apart. The first time it gets wet, it will have to go in the garbage - literally. Sent back in less than 30 minutes.
