What a great product. These work great. I'm sure they would work good on any type of material. My curtains are very thin and sheer but these do the trick holding them together.

Wow, where have these been all my life? They work perfectly, and no holes in the wall or trim. The curtains I’m using are very light, so they might not work as well on thicker, heavier fabric. I recommend them.

looks pretty but works best if you can attach the ends to something other than one another
These are attractive and a very nice idea. I used them To hold back curtains in a dorm room since we could not attach anything to the walls. The only problem is if you’re just attaching the two ends together vs to a magnetic surface near the window (like metal window frame or something), the weight (although not much) tends to cause the tie backs to slowly slip down the curtain. They also don’t lend themselves to adjusting the curtain so that one side hangs over the tie back more than the other etc (again, when you’re just attaching the two ends to one another). while there was metal by the window frame in the dorm, it was stainless and not magnetic, so we could only attach the two ends to one another. But they still look pretty.

These are great
These are so simple to use. I love that I dont have to put holes in my walls to mount them to. You can wrap them around twice if you want to keep the curtains tight or just once if you want them to hang loosely.For curtains by my sliding door it was important for me to keep them tight so they dont get caught in the door as you pull it closed. These holders work perfectly.Good value for the money. Would purchase again.
