Nubian Heritage Shampoo for Dry Hair Olive Oil Hydrate and Revive 12 oz

Lovely smell and leaves your hair feeling clean but soft and moisturized. I have fine hair, dryer skin, and I use this product without conditioner. It’s my favorite shampoo I’ve ever used.

My hair is really starting to get gray...I had my first gray hair when I was 56 years old...now, at 70, I'm getting a lot more...though my hair looks as if I had it streaked. In January of this year (2023), I had my hair cut in Boston - worst haircut imaginable - and the woman told me that my hair was curly. I didn't think much about it, but about two months ago, my hair was driving me crazy. It wouldn't go under or stay straight with a blunt cut. I checked out Nubian Heritage, and they have an olive oil shampoo. I checked the ingredients, and it is mostly organic and natural...nothing in it that would harm my hair or body. I tried it, and my hair felt instantly softer and less coarse...I mean after the first use!! I went to my hairdresser, and she told me that the gray hair I was noticing was coming in curly. So, I had my hair cut in a layered bob which is something that I have never done because of my straight hair. There is always hair down my back after a haircut, so I showered when I got home using Nubian Heritage olive oil shampoo and conditioner. My hair is so soft; it's very curly on the ends and wavy throughout. I know this is a strange review, but I would never put anything on my hair to give it moisture or it would just go limp and stick to my scalp. Now that I'm going to have curly/wavy hair, the olive oil shampoo and conditioner are essential. I've been using Nubian Heritage body wash and body lotion for years, so I know their products are of high quality. I am so impressed with this shampoo and conditioner that I don't mind paying more for it. I does wonders for my curly hair!! Love, love, love it!!

I received the product with the lid protector opened I reckon was because of the warm climate.I use this shampoo 3 days a week, It has a good smell, It makes a lot of foam and I like that (and I don’t have to use too much of it), my hair is thick, with volume and in some parts oily.. that’s why I don’t use it frecuently. But I feel safe from harm and it keep my hair moist and clean.

I just discovered this product. I adore this company and everything they make. When my friend tried this shampoo, loved it, and tried to convince me to use I was hesitant. I didn't want my hair to be greasy! I finally gave in and tried it...my hair absolutely loved it!! Not only not greasy but was able to wash with out a conditioner which cut down my showering time. I'm able to go longer in-between washes, hair feels fuller yet silky. But...now it's not available on Amazon! I'm hoping this review influences that!

I like the shampoo as it makes the hair soft and clean. Does not have to use a lot to shampoo the hair, so for a bottle, it lasts quite a long.

I love Nubian Heritage products but when you receive your bottle of shampoo covered in it and all over the lid, that is not okay. The seal on the top of the bottle was shoved up to the very top of the lid — so it wasn’t sealed and the product I payed to use, had leaked out of the bottle. I spent several minutes cleaning the lid inside & out and trying to cut the seal out of the lid just so I could use the shampoo bottle. And this isn’t the first time I’ve received product that was leaking upon arrival. Need better seals or packagers. But I will say that the smell has some nostalgia for me so I do like that.

A very basic shampoo with minimal scent. Foams very well, rinses well. Moisturizes scalp. Will order again.

It smells really good. Leaves your hair feeling fresh and clean.
