I have previously installed battery isolator kits that were a solenoid type. Those didn't seem to be available anymore as a kit. One of the main reasons I chose this kit is the length of the cable was what I needed. The nice thing about it is that it is auto sensing and I didn't have to wire up an additional ignition feed to it. So far seems to be working correctly. It showed to be charging correctly.

Great kit. Installed in my 2002 Toyota Tundra . Took only about 1 hour and also installed the override switch. Works great and comes with decent quality components / wire

the only complaint is that the cutouts for wires in the plastic housing are way too small for some wires. I am using 8 guage wire and I had to cut the plastic housing out a lot to get the wire to fit through the case.

The product is exactly as advertised. I used it in a marine application for multiple boat batteries. I was able to install it with ease. No problems works great. I all so have the a dual voltage monitor installed so that when the stator gets to 13 volts, you are able to see the transfer. I’m very pleased with the purchase. If you have a boat with multiple batteries it’s a must have.

Installed in truck. Every time I left the truck for more than a week the battery was completely dead. Like I had left the headlights on dead.

Maybe i received a used unit? Wanted to install it this afternoon to wire 2 batteries for my air suspension setup,was missing the cable lugs, screws ,heat shrink and negative cable . Sucks but ill just have to use my own
