Condor Tactical Cap

Top quality real condor hat. I'm already feeling like an operator again. I wear this hat everywhere. I wear it when I'm making love, taking a shower, pooping or just at a fancy restaurant in a suit.

I just received my second hat and the quality is even better than the first. I did not think this was possible because the first hat lasted me more than five years wearing it everyday. Never did it come undone or fade. The only reason I purchased a second had is because I lost the fist.I like to work on the house/yard every chance I get, however I sweat a lot. I don’t like a my hat to smell so I toss it in the wash often. Most hats that are washed, like the expensive baseball hats from the mall, come out deformed. Not this hat !!! The price point is excellent for the quality. I highly recommend this hat !!! I will buy again and will buy as gifts this Christmas.

Use:for duty wear in any AOR that authorizes theseFirst impressions:1. Material is a bit stiffer than I anticipated (e.g., felt like it was starched), but appears to be durable2. I especially like the small horizontal sleeve that you can hide the excess strap in the back in so it's not dangling around like tail.3. This cap is shallower than many other baseball caps I've worn and personally, I like that. I have a big head, but this doesn't swallow it like many caps I've worn in the past from Rothco and stuff.4. the hook and loop in the back fits a typical standard military regulation sized hook and look name tape5. the front hook and loop Condor emblem up front is just right for issued subdued hook and loop US flag.6. there's that IR patch up top too.7. They're adjustable with a buckled strap in the back (not hook and loop or tabs) which makes these more durable.8. And really one of the main reasons I like these is because they're better than patrol caps both aesthetically and functionally. Patrol caps are better performers in cold weather (probably because it keeps warm air from your head in the void in the patrol cap between the cap and your skull), but the baseball caps are usually cooler. Plus the hole in the back where the adjustable strap is, can be used to hook this to things like a carabiner on your belt loop or something (usually not in regs to do that, but no one enforces these things when deployed. So long as you're not too off on the regs you're okay). Also, I swear patrol caps blow off easier in the wind than baseball caps.The only negative so far:1. Delivery service. Literally whoever delivered it just threw it at my house and it landed the steps in front of my house where anyone can walk by an pick it up or can be picked up by the wind and drenched in the rain. It said delivery was USPS, but there was not a postman anywhere when I walked out after hearing the thud of the box hitting the concrete from inside. There was an SUV with someone's son walking out and delivering packages down the street. All the delivery person had to do was walk 2 more feet and it would be on the porch protected. That's just lazy. This doesn't weigh a ton, you'd think they could do that. Any damage, you ask? not to the cap, but the box has an indentation from the impact of the corner of my concrete steps; what if this were glass or sensitive electronic equipment inside. Geez.We'll see how this will handle the abuse now that the heat wave is coming and the sun is seeking to kill you...and the subsequent sweat that this will surely be soaked in under helmets and straps and other junk.

Pretty nice for a $10 hat. Seams in dome are taped well, stitching seems solid, it’s not lopsided or askew in any way. The material is thin and likely won’t hold up long in every day wear, but that would only be a gripe for me if I’d paid more or planned to wear it other than when I’m wearing headphones or ear muffs. My reason for taking away a star is that the item description on Amazon says “100% Nylon” which would have made it a much more durable hat. It is cotton, not nylon. I actually wanted a nylon hat, but at this price, I had a sneaking suspicion it would actually be cotton - and it is. If anyone cares to comment on whether they’ve found a quality nylon hat of this design on Amazon that is actually nylon in reality upon receipt, I’d be grateful to you.

The comfort is great, the quality is above par. They went above my expectations so much I ended up ordering a black one then a tan one. My only problem with that is all the patches I bought to match them are turning me into a patchaholic.At work my hats are going to get dirty so I didn't want a solid colored one that the dirt and finger smudges would take away from the American flag patch on the front. The Multicam Arid fit the bill nicely , having a multi cam flag patch on front and In Good We Trust (also multi cam) on the back until my custom text ones arrive. I ended up ordering matching patches for the others and rubber American flag patches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y7Y4I6/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk for each as well. On the black the low profile coloring of the gray on black rubber flag make the hat look like very stealthy and menacing looking while not standing out and stating "look at me" like so many hats do. The tan hat with Coyote color rubber flag look like they were made for each other but the cloth ones still look great on the hat I got them for.If you want a high quality hat that fits like an old friend straight from the package that's about as comfortable as a cap can be in hot humid weather to cold rainy weather , that also is a great receptacle for your Velcro morale patches, this design and brand will be tough to beat.

Let me address some of the complaints that have been posted about this cap. First off, the one I received is definitely from Condor. Second, It fits just fine with room to spare on the adjustment strap when I wash it. The velcro fasteners for patches are on the front, back and even a small one on the top and they hold a patch just fine. Also the shape of the cap is similar to several other caps I have. The quality of the fabric feels sturdy and the cap is comfortable to wear. The A-Tacs camo is just like my A-Tacs shirts. So overall I rate this a solid 5 Stars.

This hat looked kind of what I was looking for, but I wasn’t sure about the size adjustment. I needn’t have worried because the adjustable strap at the back is very wel made (I like some others) and it’s easy to make it a perfect fit. One reviewer said “most comfortable hat I own” and it’s because of that really that I decided to order one. I think he’s right, so thanks mate. Quality is really excellent and it’s not too deep in the head dome (or whatever that part of the hat is called :0). I don’t like caps that make you look like an urban rapper. I’ll definitely be buying some more Condor gear, very pleased with it.

Really nice quality hat. It's a more traditional 'buckle' rather than velcro at the back, (and I would have preferred velcro to be honest, but the buckle works well and seems strong so I can't complain really). Has a velcro front for a rectangular patch, also has a thinner strip of velcro on the back presumably for a velcro name patch or something else thin.

As a follically challenged man, caps are a necessary item in my wardrobe. I have some very decent New Era hats but this is on another level. It feels light and comfortable, definitely the go to cap on a hot day. The material feels durable and of a good enough quality to put up with difficult weather and a bit of mud. Very happy with this purchase. Would definitely consider buying Condor again for myself or as a gift.

One of my favourite caps to wear fits great great design high quality and perfect for adults head size if your looking tatical/operator cap this is for you made mistakes in the past in buying cheap ones you get what you pay for just remember that

I bought this to keep the sun from my eyes when out clay pigeon shooting, and it’s perfect. The peak is really rigid and a little oversize, so casts a lot of shade, and the hat itself fits really snuggly to my head, so doesn’t get in the way of my ear defenders.
