Very good filter media
Very satisfied with this purchase. Ceramic rings are light weight (sign of good quality). Active carbons are also in shape as shown in the description. you have to wash the active carbons under the running water before putting it inside the filter. That will ensure no cloudy water. Both ceramic rings and active carbons came neatly packed in their respective media bags. Bio balls are some what small shaped. (0.5 inch dia) and that is exactly what I needed. I've kept them in a separate partition inside my top filter which allows them to float and rotate in the water flow. Enough of filter media for my newly purchased Venus aqua 603 top filter.

Packaging was not great
Packing was not good .They wrapped activated carbon and ceramic rings in plastic wrap with tape and bioballs were simply put inside the amazon pouchThe activated carbon had spilled imside the amazon pouch in which it came so did the ceramic ring the packaging was not at all good . Everything got mixedNow i cant blame them for it as they are giving it for real Cheap cost when compared .Had to soak the ceramic ring and activated carbon in water for one night .Now i own two turtle and 4 guppies and one catfish in my 10 litre plastic box setup.i use this with my sun sun canister filter and i placed everything in order.MY verdict yes it works .It removed the smell from the water and can be used as a good biological media for filteration .Thanx to activated carbon the water is very clear and my fishes and turtles are happy and living good .I recommend to buy this as it is cheap but the seller can do well for the packagingBut cant complain for the price you pay its balue for money

Got these bio media well packed works for aquariums very well and it doesnt come with any bags adding three bags would be nice be sure to rinse the media in a seperate water before adding it to the tank activated carbon atleast 4-5 times rinse

excellent product
1. 500 gram of both ceramic rings and act carbon very cost effective.2. 22 bio balls3. my water becomes crystal clear within 2 hours.4. precautions - wash activated carbon 2-3 times with water to remove dust and black colour.5. use activated carbon only for 3-4 months and throw it away as its capacity to adsorb metals used up. and buy a new one.6. really great product. a must buy.

Good for Fishtank pumps
This is a great item for fish tanks.I am using it with other Chinese pump - I have modified the original pump so as to use these items and save money.I have been using these for the past more than 6 months.Great item.

Good product but poor packaging
Product is good. Serves its purpose. However, -2 stars for poor packaging. Quite a few ceramic rings and Bio balls came broken. Very fragile products should be marked Fragile as well for the delivery person to handle properly.Overall product is good.

PATHETIC,, all the items were pathetically packed
PATHETIC ,,all the items were pathetically packed , the ceramics were broken, the coal was loosely packed so all the items were covered in dust of Coal and the coal was only 200 gms and not 500 gms.
