Quality could be better, gets the job done
I bought this and have tried for about a week to get it to work. Doesn't wiggle or move at all. Not sure if maybe the electrical components in mine are bad out of the box. Going to try more later this week but may need to return it.Edit: After checking it further, the batteries were not quite lined up right. If you have it not wiggle/swing like it should, be sure the batteries have got a good connection. The battery housing on mine is oddly shaped at the plus side ends. Also, for Pokémon Go be sure adventure synch is on. Phone updates sometimes disable that feature.

Bought two. Both failed
I've bought two of these from different "manufacturers" or sellers, but they're all the same product. I bought them for Pokemon Go. The first one I bought was awesome for My Galaxy s8 and s7. My motorala Z Play did not work.It was great while it lasted, but it stopped working completely, either powered by cable or by battery, after about three weeks.I bought a second one and it stopped working today after three days of use. Same issues.Too bad. Amazon doesn't seem to have a auto-step device that actually works. There's one other type I've seen on Amazon, but while the mechanism itself seemed to work fine, it didn't actually add steps on and of my devices. Too bad. This is really basic design, but there's no good options that I've found. Oh well. Back to shaking my phone when it's too rainy to go walk.

It works. It tricks the counter.
It does exactly what you want it to do. I'd say the feequency is like twice per second. Quite ordinary design.

Works but Pokemon go app sometimes won't count steps
Worked great at first but after 4 weeks it won't keep swinging. I see others have same issues. I don't know if it's a defect or what.Update: After unplugging the cord from both the USB jack and from the unit and reconnecting it it worked again. Maybe it's the cord or USB plug. It works on batteries too. Don't know how long it will last.Update: changed my rating to 4 stars. still works great but the Pokemon go app sometimes won't count the steps even if it's been swinging all night but this is more recent glitch with game not this device. It works great besides that.

90 days tops, and then it stops working
Great device until it stops working. Ordered it on Jul 31, 2019 and on 10/29/19 it stopped working. Return window closed, so I just threw money out the window... smh
