Who doesn't remember playing with this toy, because it was such fun. It has been modernized where the child can see the pegs going round and coming out the other end. I like that the holes are colored and built up, so it is easier to pound on them. The hammer is sturdy, so is the whole structure. I don't like all the pictures on the sides, it is too busy for me, but that is the modern look.

Good: high quality materials and build, feels like it can withstand quite a bit of hammering, colors are very eye-catchingBad: Doesn't actually make our son (19 months) want to hammer! If you put the pegs into the left/flat side and the tube is full of pegs, then the pegs wiggle around too much to be hammered easily because it sticks quite far out of the bench. If you put the pegs into the right side, then the silicone inner ring and red ring help to grip and align them in place, but then you can't hammer the peg in all the way and the pegs won't pop out the other side of the bench. Plus our son figured out within the first 5 minutes that it was far easier to use his fingers to push the pegs in than deal with the hammer and aligning the wiggly pegs!

My toddler loved this and his big sister loved "demonstrating" it needlessly to him... the only thing I'd love are replaceable pieces as lose one and it's non-functional

It has very sharp corners un safe for young children.

Nice wooden toy but can be hard for little ones to put pegs in to start. Cause and effect is slow but we still like it.

Great toy. Sturdy, fun, really great quality.

Well made but the toy is very busy. My 18 month old lost interest in it pretty quickly.
