Caroline Myss has a unique perspective that is invaluable. I got great nuggets from listening to this CD set.

These CDs are reality check for someone who wants to be a healer. It is an eye opener to your motivation and capacity to be a healer. It is also about having self-esteem before you can love and help someone. Forgiveness is an alchemy to healing. I like listening to Ms. Myss, she is direct, insightful, and authentic of her perception of the world around her.

The information contained on these 4 CDs is without a doubt just what I needed to hear. However, it is so in depth that I also need to be able to read it on a printed page. I learn visually rather than auditory. I hope Ms. Myss will one day put this information into a paperback form and when she does, I will definitely give her 5 stars! This is invaluable information that every healer needs to know. Thank you for sharing with us.

This cd is full of Caroline's wisdom and thoughts for the healer. No matter what your modality is, the Caroline speaks to it. I have listen/read much of her work and I have to say that I don't always agree with her, but she makes her point clear. That I appreciate. She talks so anyone can understand what she is saying, not just those who have been in the healing arts for many years.I recommend this guide to all modalities!

This is a real world view of what it means to be a healer, how to take care of yourself and keeping yourself (or your ego) in check. It contains both practical and spiritual aspects of the healing professions, and some things you don't expect to hear. Overall, I found it very helpful and am glad I purchased it!

CM is my favorite teacher. Some are turned off by her call-you-on-your-stuff, wake-up-and-be-accountable style, but I love it. So many New Agey seekers are too light in their reality loafers anyway and want to be enabled in their bubble of no negativity. Always bringing strong information, she speaks in a way that resonates to my core and I love her humor. We are lucky to have her available to us in this lifetime.

I love Caroline Myss' work. She really tells it like it is and isn't afraid to push buttons that inevitably stimulate personal growth. If you are a practicing "healer" in any profession (or are considering becoming one) this CD set will help you take an honest look at why you are drawn to the healing arts and what you need to be aware of to avoid burnout. This would be a great gift for any aspiring massage therapist, counselor,acupuncturist, etc.

With a title claiming "Essential Guide for Healers", and having high regard for some of her other works, I was excited to hear this set. I was expecting a positive, motivational, educational, enlightening experience - instead, I was weighed down with her seriously negative attitued about what healing artists other than herself were bringing to the world. It was painful, but I listened to the entire 4 discs, waiting for some of the kinds of gems that have come from her other works. The 3rd and 4th discs were somewhat less negative than the first two, but disappointing is the best one word review for this work. Wasted money - I don't even feel good about passing it along to anyone else.

Love Caroline Myss's direct and honest approach. What she says just makes sense to me and I wish that all healers had a copy of this audio book.
