. This tool was recommended by a Rosarian (rose grower) IWhen I first got this, I lined up all my clippers to sharpen and I was quite pleased with the results. Unfortunately, it broke after sharpening about 8 tools. So I am going to try to return it but at the very minimum, I need a more sturdy tool, because I do a lot of cutting.

Strange shape and the area where sharpening takes place is quite small. Does not seem very efficient and takes a lot of effort for a small improvement. However, eventually, the secateurs were sharpened somewhat.

Breathed new life into my trusty garden pruners, which with 17 rose bushes get a LOT of use each year. In Southern California my bushes bloom from early March to early December, so cutting and "dead-heading" is a daily activity. I own two sets of good quality pruners, but both had begun to do more tearing than cutting. This tool brought them back to life. Very satisfied!

Directions in Japanese had to figure out how to use it on my own - still don't know what the cleaner thing? is inside the handle or what it is for.

Great for quick sharpening of the garden shears providing they are not extremely full to begin with

Nice long reach for sharpening but the notch between the sharpener blades is a bit too small and cannot be changed or adjusted.

I tried to use them on my clippers and my scizzors and now I have to buy new. Awful!

It’s a good little sharpener , light weight and very easy to use , my wife loves it.
