The greatest act of love that any person can do to another is to share with them the truth, love and hope that is only found through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.This wonderful DVD set continues sharing that. There are two important things in life. To be saved and then to help share the truth so others may be saved through Christ. For even if we live to be 100, we are only here on earth for a brief moment, and then we spend an eternity either in heaven or hell. Making disciples and sharing the truth is not just the job of the preachers and people on missions to other countries.. If we know Christ as our savior it's our job and it begins 1 step out of our door.The classic sermons included on Disc 3 are from previous crusades and are wonderful. Don't let the fact that they are old recordings tarnish your thoughts. The truth then is the truth now. The truth does not expire. If Billy Graham was able, he'd still say the same thing today. In fact, he does. Just calmer and more quiet.Many people know of the old testament 'ten commandments' but when God came into the world as a man, Jesus himself gave us about 50 commands and said "if you love me, keep my commandments". Such commands included "love your neighbor, deny yourself, take the narrow gate, repent, pray for laborers, be a servant..." etc...However the great command was to go and make disciples.The term 'christian' is used 3 times in the bible whereas the term 'disciple' is used about 250 times. We are called to be disciples. A disciple is someone who has been saved by faith and grace and belongs to the Lord. A disciple's prime directive is to go make other disciples by sharing God with others.The early followers knew this and obeyed. With only a handful of people they changed the world.Billy Graham's ministry knows this and the only way America can be saved from it's rapid downfall is by making disciples, followers of Jesus, who make other disciples who in turn make other disciples.God is love, truth and the answer. He loves us and wants us to love him. He created us nd gave us free will to either believe and follow him or to do our own selfish ways. Whether you are lost and seeking an answer or have been saved by the Lord for decades, this DVD set is worth watching and sharing with all those you care about. It's important. It is the truth.

Love Graham

This set is incredible. My wife and I recently watched  Billy: The Early Years Of Billy Graham  and were pretty amazed to see the story of how Billy Graham became an evangelist. It's quite a story. My wife has always looked up to Billy Graham as a personal hero of hers and often says "There will never be another Billy Graham!" I think she's right.The reason this set is so great is the diversity and quality of the content. There is plenty of new content here, like The Cross, Lose To Gain and Chasing It All... programs which feature personalities like Lecrae, Lacy Sturm and Michael Jr. I especially enjoyed hearing Lecrae's testimony. They are all powerful pieces and very well produced.For me the highlights though are the classic films of some of Billy Graham's most famous revivals. There are three different sermons... from 1957, 1971 and 1985. They are all amazing. If you have heard of Billy Graham and aren't sure why people make such a big deal about him, watch one of these sermons and be amazed. Graham preaches with so much charisma, passion, personality, humbleness and fire that is quite something to behold. There are many great evangelists and preachers of the Word today, but I really don't think any of them measure up to the standard set by Billy Graham. He is singular and unique in the history of Christendom. He is as close to a living saint as you are likely to encounter.Generations to come will look at film and video of Billy Graham and wonder what it was like to live during a time when he was alive preaching and spreading the Gospel. We should count ourselves blessed to be here with him in this time and place. He is a shining example of someone giving their life completely to God and showing the rest of the world what God can do with just one life totally devoted to Him. Buy two or three copies and give them to friends and family. They will thank you.

I only gave it 4 stars because case won't close, it came damaged, the case.

I was expecting the full version as sold in stores. I even wrote ahead of the purchase inquiring if it was indeed the 3 DVD version and that I needed 7 sets for gifts. I also asked if the shipping was still going to be $3.99 for each DVD. The seller said it would only be $4.00. Plus the $8.00 per DVD. So $56.00 plus $4.00. Or a total of $60.00.I finally got my "envelope". I was very surprised that I was still charged $3.99 for each DVD and when they all arrived in one envelope ( A total cost of shipping being $2.73 ). Each DVD was only a one DVD packaged in a thin card stock type pocket.Not what I was expecting!

Sad to see Billy Graham so fragile. His message is clear - and to the point. America has become a sinful nation and unless we repent, we will reap the consequences of our sin. Billy Graham has never sugar coated the truth. This video highlights some of his greatest revivals, but reminds us that we have a long way to go. He also gives the viewer the opportunity to get their heart right with God. Watch this video. Very moving. Very truthful. AND ... very needed, especially today.

I love Billy Graham but I think that many people see him as old fashioned or preaching an "out of date or old fashioned" message. This video proves that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is as pertinent and convictiong today as it was 2000 years ago. Nothing old fashioned or out of date about this message or about our Savior. Billy Graham, I'm sure, is counting the days when he will hear his Savior say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." He has truly "laid his treasures in Heaven" and will reap the blessings of his faithfulness.
