DONT READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS !! Works very well with a lot of power!
Seems to be working well and as expected so far. Have only had it in pond for a few days but don't push "roughly" about the same as the (1600 mph) pump we have. It is very quit, but the only down side I do have is how large it is. It is pretty big but again with the low voltage it's said to use I prefer it over maybe a regular pond pump. However, the 1600 pump we have is slightly smaller so easier to hide.DONT READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! If you would read the ad, it states there is NO power transformer included for this product! Reason for this is because for people such as myself who use our regular 200watt outdoor light transformer to power this and works just fine. As long as you have the correct wire size and cut off the quick connect end of the jet and simply wire it the same way as outdoor lights it works the exact same way.You can also if needed just buy a cheaper transformer for about $30 to power it if needed, but will need at least a 60watt for (1) jet or larger for more than one jet. So for those of you who have purchased this powerhead and complained about having to buy something else for it, for one "READ"!! AND TWO, considering its only 40watts vs 100watts for the a small pond pump you will save fro the start.I would buy this one again. Only thing I would say is you will most likely need more than one jet if you have a larger pond as we do to help push from one side and have the other pushing the other side. We plan to probably buy another one to have two of these.

Not very powerful.
I have a 12x20 pond. The deepest area is about 40”s. I bought this in hopes I could stir up the bottom and get the debris (branches and leaves) blown over to the intake side. well it’s 2000gph and it’s just not enough at all to move anything. I would have rather used a pond pump but they aren’t energy efficient. I’ve left this in my pond for now but if your hoping it would help stir things up look elsewhere.

Clogs every couple of days
PowerHead moves water well, but clogs up every couple of days. Emailed Aquascape about clogging. Was instructed to put powerhead in 4 inch drain pipe. Too much maintenance. Also, you have to buy a separate transformer. power supply not included. I really wanted for this to be the solution for my concrete pond.

Too powerful for smaller ponds
I have a 1000 gallon pond and I found that this powerhead was just too powerful for my pond. I wish that Aquascape made a smaller and less powerful size or integrate this pump with a controller that allows you to adjust the power, like they do with their Aquasurge pumps. It's disappointing because this is really the only option when it comes to pond powerheads. The rest of the powerheads/wavemakers are designed for indoor aquarium use. But unfortunately, this powerhead seems to be designed for larger ponds. There is a market of pond owners with smaller ponds who don't really have any options for powerheads but they would still like some increased water movement in their ponds. I hope Aquascape takes this feedback into consideration and makes a smaller and less powerful version.

No power plug? Pay $55 more
Opened box and it has no plug to run it. You have to buy one separately. They didn't make that clear when I purchased this for $130. Pay $55 more for a power 40 watt transformer. But I changed my number from 1 star to 2 because the device works good once you get it set up.
