BURBERRY Brit Rhythm Men Eau de Toilette

I think I have found a new favorite summer cologne! Its tough for me to find a good summer scent. I don't like "fresh" scents as I don't feel like smelling like an air freshener. I cannot carry off citrus or other fruity scents either. Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense is spicy but also crisp and clean. It is only "intense" for the first hour or so and then becomes a very pleasant background aroma. Its sophisticated but also casual. I have worn it to an outdoor wedding as well as hanging out with friends and it was the perfect scent in both situations. A new favorite!

This product has a good, clean smell. I have had many people ask what I was wearing because, it smells so good!

I like  Brit Rhythm  very much, and was running low on  Burberry London , which is my go-to in colder months. I had come across Rhythm Intense in a magazine ad a while ago, but had a hard time finding it in stores.To me -- and cologne is so subjective -- Rhythm Intense is like a middle ground between Rhythm and London. There's the light / fresh aspects that make Rhythm interesting, but there's also the leathery pipe tobacco thing going. (If you've never smelled London, it's a lot like a spiced pipe tobacco.)Rhythm Intense is a bit trickier to wear, though. It gets overpowering very easily, and takes a while to lighten up. But unlike regular Rhythm, which tends to last for many hours, I find that Rhythm Intense seems to disappear after about 4 - 5 hours.I'd buy it again, for sure. But as a 9 - 5 kind of cologne in fall / winter, I think I'll probably stick with London and use this as more of a "going out" cologne.

Obviously, colognes smell a little different on everyone, and this one will likely be one of those scents that you either love or hate, with very little mid ground.The first (and main) thing that I have to mention is that it's really, really, really strong. I've used it a lot in the past month and found that even two sprays at close distance to my skin is way too much. When first sprayed on, it has an unfortunate chemical smell if you spray it straight on (my 4 year old daughter thought it was a permanent marker the first time I wore it), and after a couple tries I realized that all I needed was one spray into the air in front of me and a walk through it.It's one of those colognes where a little is definitely worth a lot, and actually smells a lot better when spread thinner and more evenly. I prefer Burberry London straight up, but used sparingly this will be a decent occasional alternate.

Love it! I'll admit I would like the smell to last longer, but it smells great!
