Won't last more than 3 years before the seam cracks
We had this as part of our pump system when we bought it new in 2020. Over the past 3 years the canister started to break down in the weather and sun. This year we went to get the pool opened up and the whole seam cracked and was leaking. We put some water pressure on it (without the pump running) and the whole seam broke loose. We didn't feel like changing out the whole system yet, so we bought this replacement. It went on easy enough and has a little different closing system on the top, but the design is the same. Hopefully, it gives at least another couple of years to give us time to replace the whole pump system with something better.

Use CAUTION when priming!
BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN PRIMING!!Easily installed but during priming the lid blew off about 8' in the air. Luckily we where not leaning over lid. Not sure why this happened since it is rated for high pressure of a swimming pool and we are using for inground hot tub. We super glued the broken plastic while waiting on new 1 and didnt tighten all the way so not to have another break. New 1 installed and working great. Now waiting to see if we are refunded for the 1st 1.
