Can’t beat the price
Perfect for any automotive scraping job you need. The size is perfect for smaller tighter spaces. Quality is good. I’ve used this product about a dozen times and it still looks brand new.

Very nice to use, scrapes extremely well
They are very nice to use, the handles are a bit uncomfortable, but ok. I am still confused as to why the packaging specifies that it may cause reproductive harm / cancer, how exactly ? in which way does one have to use them to achieve those result ? No ideea, and i hope i won't find out.

Very well made
Lisle has done it again. Love this scraper, it cast a little more but the carbide is on straight and cut well

Not the one and only tool for gasket scraping.
I am learning when they are ideal for the job but some of my other methods are still king for some situations. These work great for cleaning up after thick gaskets have been chiseled off. If anyone has worked on Honda out board engines (and I suppose automotive) with the green gaskets you know what I mean by chisel off. For chiseling off I use short bladed putty knife or a thick stiffer scraper made for this with a sharp edge ground at an angle on the top of the blade. With the scraper laid as flat as I can I use a small brass hammer to chisel off the thick gasket. I will come behind the chisel process with these to scrape down to bare metal. These also work good for cleaning corrosion off of gasket surfaces. I don't normally use the powered surface processes because on aluminum and narrow cast iron it is too easy to round off the edges and also glaze over the gasket reminiscence and make it look like the metal surface without noticing it if it is a dark gasket. There is no one tool that does it all.

Works well for cleaning cylinder heads and blocks
I have used this extensively for doing an initial scrape for cylinder heads, blocks and intakes. Works well and most importantly is dead flat so if used correctly it doesn't gouge our cause low spots. Its a good tool to have for sure.

These carbide scrapers make a hard jobs easy.
I thought how much better can these actually be than a razor blade scraper. They will burn through old gasket material quick, you almost have to be care not gouging material.

Awesome tools
Some people say that a razor blade is good enough but trust me they have their flaws. These scrapers are a must have they stay sharp and will do anything you could ever want I use them on the bottom on engines to prep for sealant/ gaskets, and use them mainly on brake brackets as they get rusty quite often. Main reason I bought these from Amazon was they were half the price as mac and funny enough these are the same ones mac sells. I got 2 for the price of 1 and don't regret it. Awesome tools and better then changing razor blades all the time

Time and money saver’s making a mundane job easier.
Nicely presented scrapers, machining of the carbide tips is a little inconsistent, slightly out of square on both tool tips. That said it doesn’t seem to affect the tools performance and the carbide tips have held their edge.Excellent job removing hard baked head, water pump, sump gaskets etc on older vintage components. These are instant time savers, comfortable quality plastic handles allowing less physical effort.

Best scrapers you can get
I use these regularly and they work real well. They are tough stay straight and hold a keen edge can be used on soft metals like aluminium with due care and also steel iron ect. Way better than razor blades and spatulas.
