You'll Need to Look Past the Woo
I did not realize this before I bought the book, but this lady hardcore subscribes to alternative medicine woo; I looked up all of the doctors she lists by name and they are all alternative medicine quacks. Looking past this, I tried the recipes to see if I liked them for what they were. The handful I've made have been delicious and easy enough to make and find ingredients for. I have three mouths to feed, so I double the recipe when I make it, as it's supposed to feed only two; every recipe I have tried has made so much food - a doubled recipe easily feeds five or six. Another thing I liked about the recipes is they have complex flavors; my husband and I joke that it's "grown-up food," but my two-year-old enjoyed it as much as we did (with the exception of the herb omelette).TLDR; The recipes are good on their own, but you'll have to look past the alternative medicine crap that is littered throughout.

My new staple!
Goodbye cookbooks that are geared towards feeding a family of four on meat and potatoes. Healthier Together is my new go-to staple for me and my husband. The recipes are super simple to follow, I'm happy it includes easy and fun things like enchiladas (all dairy-free!), and no more leftovers for the whole week. (Don't get me wrong, I love leftovers, but Healthier Together finally gets the portions right for two.) Buy this book and get cooking alongside your partner, your friend, your mom -- whoever.

Amazing Recipes with Mindfulness
I'm loving this book so far for so many reasons! I have made at least a half-dozen recipes so far. Here is what I love:- Smaller servings (it's just me and my BF... sometimes just me when he's traveling and I hate having so much leftover! These portions are perfect)- EVERY recipe I have made has been sensational! They are easy to follow and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the breakdown of how you can cook "together". Brilliant- Easy ingredients. I live in a relatively small town so sometimes there are things I just can't find at my local stores. I haven't come across any ingredients in the book that I can't find.- The Chocolate Chip cookies are incredibly delicious. I can't remember since the original Toll House recipe that I've made the same CCC recipe over and over. These are just phenomenal! And when Liz says you can make them in 10 minutes, she's spot on.- These recipes are not fast though which at first bothered me as sometimes when it's been a long day, errands after work, life, etc, I tend to start dinner later and when the recipes take longer, that pushes dinner time back even further. But that doesn't bother me now because the length forces me to SLOW DOWN and ENJOY the process and to be more mindful!I have yet to make a meal "together" with the travel schedule and other life things but that's not stopping me from cooking from this book! Thank you LIZ!

Simple, Healthy, and Delicious
I made the "Way More Veggies Bolognese." The recipe was simple and SO delicious. Chopping the veggies was the most difficult part -- my knife skills are awful. I also made "The Best Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie" and I still can't believe they're gluten free. They taste amazing! I'm going to slowly make my way through this cook book. It's definitely my go-to right now.

Love this cookbook already
I've always been a fan of Liz's recipes (her lentil stew is one of my weeknight staples), and I couldn't have been more excited to dive into Healthier Together. First off, it's so pretty to look at, so it feels like such a wonderful little gift to myself. Second, the recipes in the book are perfect for meals for me and my husband. We're relatively health conscious, but don't like to sacrifice flavor—and Liz is seriously a wizard at finding harmony between those two goals. Cannot recommend this cookbook enough! Pro tip: Don't sleep on her healthy fudge brownies.

Easily adapted but undoubtedly delicious exactly as written
First, let me just say that Liz herself is a magical human and this book perfectly encapsulates the joy and positivity she radiates. Having cooked alongside many lovely lives--from my great-grandmother and mother-in-law to my godfather and my dad as well as some of my closest friends--I can honestly say that leafing through this absolute treasure brings all those memories flooding back. Furthermore, the simplicity of the ingredients Liz has worked her behind off to ensure lend themselves very well to adaptation. To be completely honest, I haven't cooked anything from this cookbook exactly as its written because I'm an itty-bit scatterbrained and have always forgotten to pick up at least one listed ingredient from each recipe that I've made; however, I trust the craft and have so much as quadrupled the size of one of the soups in order to feed my large soup-loving family. On this occasion, each of my twins not only had seconds but again asked for the soup the next day for lunch--because it was so delicious, so filling and because we had leftovers! That might not seem like a big deal but it means a lot considering my guys usually lament eating leftovers of any kind!

Healthier together
This book has changed my life. I have always been very interested in nutrition but hadn't found a book that was interesting and delicious at the same time. The day that I got this book I think I spent over six hours just going through it and reading every single recipe and it was amazing to learn why food truly is medicine. I have made many changes in my lifestyle since reading this and I am so thankful that I read it. The day I read for 6 hours, I think I spent over 2 hours just telling my husband all about it at the dinner table. I am super excited to make more recipes from this book. Every ingredient is easy to find and isn't expensive. It is also so great to be able to have a recipe that really is for 2 people so you don't have to eat the same thing for the rest of the week.I truly recommend this book to anyone. You will not regret it!

Delicious, healthy + quick meals!
This is a great cookbook for anyone looking to eat more wholefoods + veggies, whether you're a gf vegan or a meat lover. The recipes are easy to follow, use simple ingredients (most things were already in my pantry) and is the perfect way to get your partner (or friend, or whoever!) more involved in the kitchen!Would recommend to anyone looking for a tasty, healthy veg-focused cookbook.

This book is wonderful. The recipes are delicious. It makes cooking with your partner or friend easy and fun.Absolutely loved this book and we have cooked almost every single recipe and they are all excellent!

Not a single recipe I wouldn't make. Love it!
This cookbook is lovely! The images are gorgeous, no crazy ingredients needed, recipes are very easy to follow and she has a great way of adding some story telling to it! I rarely find a cookbook that I like all the recipes, but there is not a single recipe in here that I wouldn't make. I've made 4 dishes from it so far and they all turned out delicious.
