This is the BEST of the 3 versions of these toys I've tried
So I bought three versions of this toy, from three different sellers to give me a better chance of getting one that worked well. This was a birthday gift for a 4yo boy, I tested out all three of them and then gave him the best one. The other two I am keeping for myself.*****I'm posting this same review on all 3 of the versions I've bought, but this one IS the BEST one*****They ARE an awesome toy, and the version that worked the "best" will be my go-to gift for kids for awhile! The other two are still fun, although I will not buy those two again. Here are the ones I bought:****BEST****1. Flying Toys Drones for Kids, 2019 Improved Flying Ball Drone Toy with Infrared Sensor Auto-Avoid Obstacles 360°Rotating LED Light, Mini Quadcopter Hand Operated Drones for Boys or GirlsSold by: Takoda-US ($22.98)****NOT AS GOOD****2. Hand Operated Drones for Kids or Adults - Scoot Hands Free Mini Drone Helicopter, Easy Indoor Small Orb Flying Ball Drone Toys for Boys or GirlsSold by: Rolimate US ($19.99)3. XINHOME Flying Toys Drones for Kids Mini Drones Hand Controlled Flying Ball Drone Toys, Easy Indoor Mini Quadcopter Hand Operated Drones for Boys or Girls (Gold)Sold by: XINHOME Inc. ($17.77)So the one that is the best is much easier to control, more responsive, and just funner to play with. If you put your hand up to it it very clearly moves in the opposite direction. The other two aren't as responsive, and when you put your hand up to it it does nothing, only changing direction after it runs INTO your hand, and even then, the direction it moves in is unpredictable. The "best" one seems to move vertically in a much more stable and predictable manner. When you put your hand under it, it flies higher for as long as you have your hand under it. It stays around at that height for a small amount of time and slowly begins descending, still being responsive to your hand or any objects that approach its sides. The other two, when you put your hand under them, have more of a tendency to jerk upward and sometimes ascend higher than you want them to, and have a more unpredictable amount of time it takes for them to start descending. When we played with them in the yard there were a couple times we almost lost them from them going too high. You may prefer a less responsive and predictable toy, but I had more fun playing with the one I marked as best. All three have the same annoying design for the charging port - the way its placed makes it kinda hard to plug it in all the way, and I had to be a little rough with it to get it in there. It does charge and work fine though, it just doesnt seem like its going in all the way. They seem like a cheap toy, not super high quality looking (all 3 are very similar), but that doesn't take away from the fun - they're definitely cool little toys.I'm not sure how long each 3 stay flying before they have to charge, or how long it takes to fully charge. I mostly played with each for a few minutes, not until they died. Then I threw them all on the charger for probably way longer than they needed to be. Theyve since been played with other kids and I haven't paid any attention to how long they flew before charging them.

Fun Toy
This was a really fun toy for my nephew. What kid doesn't want a toy that flies! Decent price for a remote controlled flying toy. The neighborhood kids all thought it was "so cool" and "so awesome".Update: Still love this toy. Seems to last about 8 minutes a charge... Would be awesome if it mate longer but then that would probably make it to heavy to fly. It stays running longer than that but doesn't start afloat for long periods so you need to charge it again quick.

Great fun
We purchased this for my daughter’s BFF’s 5th birthday. He opened it with family later that day and I was told that everyone there LOVED it and couldn’t stop playing with it. Sent them the link and four other family members bought the same one. She said he plays with it all the time and having seen it in action recently, I can see why. It was a huge success with a small learning curve that a 5yr old figured out.

Fun drone for kids
My sister purchased one of these for my kids last Christmas and they liked it so much we got another. They are very lightweight and durable so I let my kids use indoors without worry. It's a fun toy for kids and makes a great gift.

Fun
This toy is pretty fun. My daughter has a blast "steering" it around the house with her hand. It's pretty responsive, quick enough where it moves away from your hand before you make contact and it doesn't run into walls, when it gets close it steers away. It gets 5-10 min of use per charge.

A wonderful toy until the fun ends too soon when the batteries die
I have nothing negative to say. Even my complaint about battery life is relative because I was surprised to get 20 minutes of continuous use. However, small children don't understand when their play session is cut off by the need to charge the toy again for 40 minutes. I would have given it 4.6 stars if that was possible.

Fun and Safe
I bought this for friend kid, he loved it. It is easy to use, turn it on and throw it in the air. It hovers around and then slowly descends while rotating. Good for both indoor and outdoor since it has sensor to avoid obstacles. A full charge lasts about 5-7 mins, charging takes about 30 minutes. It’s construction seems durable, with the outer shell having lots of flex to absorb impacts

Awesome
Honestly this was a blast. Dont expect too much for $15, but a total blast for the kiddos and easy to use.
