nice
received my scale yesterday. I was excited to try it out and see what kind of data it would provide. Right out of the box, it was fully charged. The Starfit app was very simple to set up and get dialed in with my info and goals. The Scale itself is stout and well-built, with no loose parts, making it a nice and solid scale. Turning it on and watching it come to life was a simple process. I put my phone next to the table, opened the app, as the instructions state. You step on the scale with bare feet, ensuring your feet cover the metal pads on the scale. You hold the handle part as instructed, making sure your thumbs are on their metal pads and all four fingers are on their metal pads. You step on the scale with one foot to activate it. When it shows 0.00 in the window, it is ready for you to step on. Hold your arms in the correct position. The scale will take your weight very fast, then about 4-5 seconds after, your phone will start to play some music (you can turn this off), the handheld screen will show a person's body with the energy waves going through the arms, legs, and body. Maybe 15 seconds and then the music stops, you can relax your arms and watch the screen, it will show you a bunch of data over the next 10 seconds if you want to watch it. If not the app will have an amazing report for your to view, More data then you can imagine. Honestly, some real solid information all well presented and logical order. Some of it was like a Blood test, with your numbers and the range of normal numbers as well as a graph of where you are on the scale. The report is very informative and can be printed on a single page of paper as well as tracked in the unit. Yea, I am inpressed and excited to see how my body changes, not just my cloths fitting better but no muscle loss or minimual muscle loss and plenty of body fat lost. best purchase so far. I will update in 30 days and then again at 60 days.

Accurate, Fast, and a Great Daily Health-Tracking Tool
I bought this smart scale to keep a closer eye on my overall health, and it’s become something I actually use every morning without feeling like a chore. The setup was straightforward, and the retractable handle—something I didn’t expect to matter as much as it does—helps the readings feel more precise than the typical bathroom scales I’ve used before. One of the first things I noticed is how quickly it settles on a measurement. I can step on, pull up the handle, and within a few seconds everything is displayed clearly on the full-color screen. I don’t have to stand there waiting for numbers to stabilize or flicker around, which makes the whole routine feel effortless. The screen itself is bright and easy to read, so I don’t have to rely on the app unless I want a deeper breakdown. The extra metrics—body fat, muscle mass, water levels, and so on—have been genuinely useful for general health tracking. I’m not training for anything specific, but having those details gives me a clearer idea of what’s happening with my body beyond just weight changes. After a few weeks of use, it’s been consistent, stable, and simple to fit into my daily routine. The readings feel realistic, without the random jumps I’ve seen from basic scales. Overall, this scale makes everyday health monitoring feel more informed and efficient. The speed, accuracy, and quality of the measurements have made it a tool I rely on, and for anyone wanting a reliable smart scale for daily use, this one has been worth it.

Works Great!
This works great and gives accurate weight information. It's easy to set up, no fees. I purchased this hoping it was comparable to a more expensive one. It seems to be and gives good information. I wish it gave a bit more like the more expensive but obviously you get what you pay for. If you're looking for basic information like body fat percentage of each area, muscle and even visceral fat, this will work just fine for you.

Caution: Not Recommended for Individuals with Body Dysmorphia or Disordered Eating Tendencies
Before purchasing this type of scale, it’s important to understand what it is—and what it is not. This is not a diagnostic tool. It is not a reliable measure of overall health for all body types. And it should not be used to set personal weight or fat percentage goals without medical or clinical oversight. For individuals with a history of body dysmorphia, eating disorders, or obsessive tendencies around weight or appearance, this device could reinforce harmful behaviors. The language used (terms like “obese,” “plump,” or “overweight”) is blunt, potentially misleading, and based on outdated classification models. These may trigger or validate distorted body perceptions, especially for users unfamiliar with how these values are calculated or misapplied. ⸻ What the Scale Does Well This is a consumer-grade bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) tool that estimates body composition by measuring the resistance of tissue to a small electrical current. It does a reasonable job at: • Estimating body fat percentage • Breaking down segmental muscle mass (arms, legs, trunk) • Reporting total body water, visceral fat grade, and protein/muscle mass • Offering trend tracking if used consistently (same time of day, same hydration state) For individuals who are emotionally grounded and experienced in reading their own data, this can be a helpful tracking device over time. ⸻ Where It Falls Short The core issue lies in its reliance on population-based models (like BMI, WHR, and body fat norms) to interpret results. These models are known to misclassify: • Muscular or athletic individuals • People with large frames or dense bone structure • Individuals who have undergone major weight loss but retained high lean mass For example, someone with high muscle mass and low metabolic risk factors may be flagged as “obese” or given a goal weight that is inappropriate for their frame. Scientific literature has long criticized BMI and similar tools for overestimating obesity in high-muscle individuals and underestimating risk in lean-appearing but metabolically unhealthy ones. ⸻ Bottom Line This scale can be a helpful tool for trend tracking, especially when used with clinical support or by informed users. But it should not be used to define health, appearance, or self-worth. For vulnerable users, the risk of misinterpretation is real and significant. Health is multifactorial. No single number—or app screen—tells the full story.

Love it!
I Just got a Dexa Scan and the proximity of the results between the scan and the scale are amazing! The scale is very easy to use, just make sure you're holding the handles with the correct grip, have your feet on the pads correctly and have the app opened when you start. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Smart Scale
The design is sleek as it claims. Setup was simple. Make sure to read through the manual to understand the features (like with any new device), downloaded the app and filled the required info (correct height, age, and gender are a must for accuracy), connected my phone to the scale via Bluetooth and WiFi (the WiFi option is a great bonus), stepped on the scale, and within seconds, a detailed breakdown of my health data appeared on my phone. It all took only a few minutes. One of my favorite features is the large surface. It makes it super easy to stand on and the large color display makes it much easier to read my results. My other favorite features is the segmental body analysis. It’s been incredibly helpful in tracking changes over time and focusing on specific areas of my body that need work. It’s sturdy, accurate, and FSA/HSA eligible, which is a big plus. I like how it points out exactly which metrics of my body need the most attention. The data is pretty easy to read. It's been huge in motivating m for health management. Directions and App are Very straight forward, easy to use, and extremely insightful. I’ve had this scale for a while and tested its functionality over time and it hasn’t disappointed. For best results, making periodic comparisons, and monitoring progress, I’ve found that weekly to biweekly weigh-ins work best. It gives you a clearer picture of trends without getting caught up in daily fluctuations. Overall, this scale is amazing value for money. Just remember, it is a smart device, so treat it like smart tech. Learn it, use the app, and you’ll absolutely love it! Highly, Highly Recommend!!
