Top Quality......
REALLY pleased with my purchase, I decided to buy this brand because Wahl has been a name I've recognised for years in barber shops that always seem to have their clippers of the same brand so I assumed that they were a good make, and my assumptions were 100% right. They're really very well engineered, very robust that gives an excellent shave, unlike some on the market the head pivots so it really follows the contours of your face to get a really close and comfortable shave, they have a nice feel to them in the hand, you can just feel the quality of them in both build and performance, being rechargeable enables you to shave whilst on the go, and in the shower if that floats your boat. I also noticed that you can buy replacement blades for them which just goes to show that it's a premium product. It's very reasonably priced and is as good as any of the high end vastly overpriced models out there. It comes with an amazing 5yr guarantee which clearly shows how confident Wahl are with the longevity of their product. Lubricating oil and a cleaning brush are all part of the package. Can't understand why the yellow model is more expensive than the yellow equivalent? It doesn't make sense. But hey no complaints here, I'm REALLY happy with my new shaver and would recommend it 100%It's a brilliant piece of kit and worth every penny!!

Worth buying, my best yet..
This gives a lovely close shave, best I've had with an electric razor. For me better than a quality rotary, & I've had few over the decades. No irritation at all even the first time. There was no "adjustment" period needed as there are with some types. The knack is to shave everyday to get the best out of it, clean it daily too & give it a drop of oil every month or so.If the whiskers are much longer than a day or two it isn't fair to the foil head type cutters, so use a blade or guard free beard trimmer first. This really is important to obtaining/maintaining satisfaction. With daily use it holds a good charge for weeks. The pop-up sideburn trimmer actually works! It is pleasingly weighty & is powerful enough to never struggle even when running low.It isn't as quiet as a rotary, but there again it does a better job.. I know which I'd rather have.Thank you.

really good shaver
The battery life on this shaver is terrific. Shave everyday and nearly get two weeks worth of shaving on one full charge. It looks good and feels well made, and have been using now for about 4 months and it gives a really good quick close shave. It's not as comfortable on the skin as I'd hoped when comparing to my old Braun series 5 but it's still much better than the cheaper electric shavers I've have in the past.

Effective & Efficient
Exceptional battery life for a foil shaver, no need to keep recharging every few days, similar to rotary shavers. The charge indicator shows remaining battery charge as well as indicating when charging.Good shave quality (slightly better than a Braun Series 3), the narrower, more curved foils get into inner contours better.Efficient long hair cutter (significantly better than a Braun Series 3). Although it works quite well when used normally (and better than the Braun), altering the position of the shaver on the skin makes it even more effective. To use this at its best, tip the shaver so that the first foil is held just SLIGHTLY ABOVE the skin and the second foil is touching the skin. Then move the shaver at a 45 degree angle across the skin.

Surprisingly good
I've not used an electric razor for 20 years but I bought this on a whim to save me having a proper shave when I feel lazy. It's actually very good but it's not as good as a proper shave with a modern 5 blade razor. So I have a proper shave when I am likely to meet people but if I am slumming it at home a just have a quick wizz over with this.

does not cut very well
Dropped & broke my ES-RF31 shaver, so thought I would see what is available to replace my 4yr old shaver.Picked this based on having Wahl clippers that are quite decent & it is probably the worst shaver I have ever used.It may be good if you shave every day, but 2-3 days stubble it just waves at it & does very little cutting.Battery seems decent & it is comfortable to hold.Would not spend £5, let alone the £50 price tag.

Solid choice
On the spot next day delivery. Solid piece of kit. We have bought WAHL products twice before (hair trimmers) and they have been well made, a good price and lasted well. This arrived fully charged, very well packed and had a small quick start user leaflet plus a small well laid out instruction manual. You don't get a huge fold out sheet in tiny print and about 20 languages. Good company providing good kit.

Great shave, but foils wear out like crazy.
After my old faithful Panasonic shaver became intermittent (after many years without a single problem) I decided to buy this WAHL shaver. After all, I'd seen WAHL products used in barber's shops all over the place, so that would mean they were dependable and cheap to run, no? Things got off to a great start. The shaver was solid and good to hold and felt like a quality product. It gave a very close shave too, even better than my dear departed Panasonic. The on/off switch was a bit awkward and hurt my thumb, but that's only a small thing. But what's this - after just six months the foils are wearing through and disintegrating! Replacement kits seem to be priced at around £17, and if I have to get a new one every six months, this would be a very expensive shaver to own! So I've ordered a new Panasonic.....
