I work in HVAC. I am regularly under houses with very poor air quality, moisture problems, and floating/falling particulates. I purchased this respirator and faceshield after working under a house with a particularly vast amount of old animal fecal matter, long-decayed possum skulls, and trashed fiberglass insulation. I spent two days under this house, installing gas pipe on the first and tearing out the insulation on the second. By the end of the second day, I could feel my body showing signs of sickness. I took care of my body that evening, but I resolved to get a high quality faceshield to protect my eyes, face, and lungs. This was that purchase. After using this product, I must say, "I love this!" I was hesitant about the faceshield, because of the space it takes up when you wear it, but it proved to have a minimal increase in the necessary space to move around under a house. The filtration quality is incredible! The difference between breathing through the respirator and breathing the normal air was very noticeable: cleaner, odorless, and without floating fiberglass. The faceshield fits wonderfully and comfortably and is easy to adjust! I wore it almost nonstop today, only removing it when taking my lunch break. My boss even noticed the faceshield and took a note and photo of me wearing it. He specifically liked the protection it provides for your face from debris.

I am not like most people buying these face masks and I am sure some would say it is crazy but if you are like me and the joy of being outdoors has been ripped away from you because of allergies you will understand. I bought this because I have extremely bad allergies, just going outside for a short period of time is not fun and I have found it to not be worth it although I LOVE working and being outdoors. I am extremely allergic to most all grasses and weeds, trees ( on a scale of one to six when I was allergy tested most all allergens where a five... I was told I should not be mowing which is something I love, but it was to the point I couldn't do it anymore. it would make me extremely sick my eyes would itch and swell... I had to find something I tried those disposable face masks I would wear 4-5 stacked at a time but still get sick , I found the WOODY KNOWS nose filters which I recommend if you are just going to the car or out for a moment but they weren't enough I tried both nose filters and face masks (which made it impossible to breath) and still getting sick for days and my eyes would go crazy I tried goggles but with my allergies I get headaches easy from the suction pressure. I also seemed to think that if I didn't breathe the allergen it wouldn't bother me but if my body was exposed I was getting much sicker than if I was covered up (seems obvious but I never really thought of it) so I started wearing a hoodie all zipped up and pants and gloves which helped but I still couldn't handle mowing, when I saw this I was nervous about spending that amount on it as nothing else seemed to be enough. I am SOOOOOOO glad I bought it, I'm sure the neighbors think I'm nuts wearing a hoodie pants tall socks and a full face mask but I will say this, I couldn't care less because I have the Joy of mowing back in my life! I have a roof on my ride mower which is all that I do so it helps with the heat and you wouldn't want the kind of tan you would get with this mask of course :) but I mow for about 3 1/2 hours and am not dying when I am done from severe allergies. The only thing I am not sure of is I purchase a medium because I found a size chart and I was right on the border of medium and small I am petite build it seals pretty good but I have to tighten it decently and the top right corner takes a bit to get sealed up so I don't know if the small would have been better but as long as you check it by waiting to put the filters on, tighten it on my head and then cover the holes where the filters go without pushing against the mask so I can check the seal you can feel air entering around the edges you know you need to adjust the straps differently or more tight. If you have been using the disposable face masks and wonder if it is worth the money I'm telling you this thing is Amazing! the Only DOWNFALL is it seems to make my nose itchy at least once per use when I'm breathing so you have to be able to just learn to ignore it until it subsides. So decide if it is worth a little minor annoyance to be able to do the things you need to do. I also recommend the plastic shield cover as when I mow or move around if I get hit with a stray tree branch it wont scratch my shield they are GREAT! I have mowed 3-4 times at least and have not had to change out filters (I do take off the filters and place the part that inserts into the mask against each other and put in a ziploc bag then wipe down the mask after each use) and breathing in this thing after trying to breath through filters or disposables is a true dream it doesn't feel like I am struggling to breath and isn't nearly as hot!

Yes this is the real deal 3M 6800 Mask. Mine was not a Chinese knock off. I ordered this in Early March when doctors in Asia started contacting my wife saying this thing is really bad and they think it is airborne. So far I have been using N95 masks because this mask looks like overkill when you put it on. If I lived in NY I would not care and would wear it everyday when I am outside. The mask is extremely comfortable and light weight. I find breathing through it for an hour much easier than an N95 mask and I love the fact that the face plate does not fog up. I hope things do not reach the point in my area that I need to use this mask, but I am so glad I have it. When Covid passes I will be keeping it for spraying out the trees and plants with pesticides.

cannot be used with glasses. can not be returned. would sure have been nice to know that before wasting money. product quality is excellent, 63% of Americans wear glasses. who would make a safety product that ignores that?

Bought two of these to protect myself during a full renovation in a 100 year old building since my half mask and goggles were slowing me down due to all the fog obstructing my vision. This full face mask came with two sets of p100 filters, and two sets of plastic clear film to protect the clear face cover. I am 5’9” 200 lbs and fits great around my face and maintains its seal with all the moving I do. The full face mask is convenient, with 4 straps to easily put on or take off the mask. I find it very easy to breathe in and it did not even fog up when I was doing demo in 94°F weather. I was a little skeptical about the price at first but these turned out to be exactly what I needed. If you’re dealing with horsehair Sheetrock, asbestos, lead, dangerous dust, etc. this is the mask to use.

Just received the respirator and very pleased. Shipping was fast, item arrived undamaged, no missing parts with an additional set of filter cartridges ordered separately. The mask is surprisingly easy to don and comfortable to wear. This medium mask fits most people with an average sized face and there is a large range of adjustment with the four straps. They are easy to tighten and easy to release. The visor is crisp with minimal distortion, although the extra stick on visor protector does blur things a bit after installation. The filters are all separately packed and sealed as were the cartridges. Functionality during leak test is as it should be, no leaking exhaust or intake valves and no fogging of the visor. The filters and cartridges clip on easily enough, however, I would like to see some spare seals with the respirator as only two were provided. I expect this respirator to last and be able to comfortably wear during spraying season. I will test the cartridges for filter efficiency before putting them to use, but I expect they will perform as expected. A great price, shipped fast. Would definitely buy again.
