Sway

Still have this little known band on a 20 year old cassette that seen it best days long ago. Decided to see if I could find it on cd and did in less than 30 seconds. If it did not say used I would of never known it was used. One of those catchy cd's you can play over and over in the car.

This is a wonderful, raw, passionate, unpolished gem, chock full of great melodies, rough-but-right-on harmonies, strong songs and solid playing. Garage rock isn't dead yet! Guitarist-songwriter Strohm and drummer Freda Love were formerly with the much more well-known Blake Babies, but I much prefer this little-known band. After a few uniformly appealing releases (of which this was the first), Antenna split up with Strohm forming Velo-Deluxe and releasing a disappointing album, while Love and bassist/guitarist Jacob Smith formed The Mysteries Of Life and released several excellent albums and EPs.
