Shure SE846-BNZ+BT1 Wireless Sound Isolating Earphones with Bluetooth Enabled Communication Cable (Bronze)

Well well well ,I had to return these.But here is the story.Disclaimer: IT MIGHT BE THAT MY UNIT WAS FAULTY I AM NOT SURE.I am a very serious music listener.My main music driver is Sony XBA H3 , hence i am from the hybrid iem domain.I also own several other iemsAnd open back and closed back headphones.Now the Se846sThe box is very impressive considering it's price tag , since they have stopped giving the pelican case the box itself is hard and dirable enough to be used as a case for storage.You get millions of tips to get the precise fit of the headphone.Now after trying a bit on the tips i found my sweet spot with these and then i began my 2 hour long listening session on various songs amd movies.I was using it directly with my hi res walkman , Galaxy note 9 , and through a dsp dac amp creative x3.The bass on these is mind bendingEven without any eq or software manipulations the subwoofer is always there ready to unleash it's massive power.The bass is precise and perfect , you have to be very careful with them so as to avoid listening fatigue.But bass is the most important part of these iems.Being a basshead myself , Post Malone Psycho will shatter your skull with the sub bass on these it is almost unreal and an experience on its own.Mids are perfect and clear although i found them lacking a bit on the female voices.Now comes the bad part.Any song demanding a perfectly tuned tweeter to bring out the bright tunes instantly fails on these , trying to eq it out just results in a terrible muffled sound.The highs are totally unacceptable at this price point , i did everything to make sure it was not the unit and my equipment, but equipment after equipment highs seemed to always take a back seat.Soundstage is enormous on these but not as good as my own XbA h3s.Returning them was very painful.I wanted to like these and keep them forever as my go to hardware for critical listening , but my wishes and expectations were far beyond for these.Make no mistakeIf you haven't tried any of the Sony hybrids ( Since they are not available in India and even abroad are quite rare ) and these are your first purchase into audiophile territory.THESE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.THESE ARE NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLYTHEY ARE VERY VERY GOOD.They will even without an amp transform your audio into something almost magical , and i have never ever heard such earth shattering and pure and crisp bass in my life.These are 5/5 audiophile earphones.But if you want a perfect sound with crisp highs they will be a huge disappointment.I am a very sad and broken man without them , maybe their next generation will solve this high frequency roll off issue or maybe they come at a lower price point of about 50k then they will be perfect in every way , but at 75k it is very hard to ignore the absence of high frequencies.Huge thanks to Appario Retail and Amazon for standing behind their return policy on such a huge investment.Amazon rocks.

Amazing bass and tremble,but I couldn't afford it and I asked my grandma to buy it for me but only one of her kidneys was operational so she sold it and covered half the price for the other half my ninety year old Grandpa offered to sell his heart and then i could finally buy it this product is totally worth it but there is one problem my grandparents are no more

I saved my 5 months salary and got loan from friends to buy this headphone which is worth for money!I didn't pay for my rent, water and food for the last 6 months to save money for this precious product.Finally, I've ended up being homeless but I've this headphone which could make me feel like I live in heaven.Love this product! :)

Great sound, totally blocks out the inmates screaming around.

Ohh what a sound man, you can directly listen the Gods voice itself from this headphone, he was saying ' OK MY CHILD, YOU HAVE SOLD YOUR EVERYORGAN OVER THIS HEADPHONE, YOUR END IS NEAR' although i dnt like whatever he said, but the sound quality was Awesome, now im writing this review from the heaven, still the sound quality is unmatchable . Too Good. 💔

greAT earphones. although i expected a few more zeroes. totally worth selling mine and my mother's kidney. Ah yes a single kidney couldn't suffice its price. but yeah TOTALLY WORTH IT. i dont know why people buy those cheap BOSE headphones when you can simply sell 2 kidneys and buy this awesome product.

Amazing product worth the money. I bought these for my little daughter.She is just 1, but now an outright music lover thanks to these earphones. I want nothing more from life.

I got these yesterday and they replaced the Shure 535 (one step lower in the range). I had enjoyed the 535 for a couple of years but broke them by inadvertently standing on them. I decided to treat myself to this step up. I think these 846 sound a bit better - deeper bass in particular. In general am happy with the sound upgrade. However, they are slightly larger and heavier than the 535 - maybe just 10%, but it means that they are a little more cumbersome and awkward to fit to my ears. The left one in particular falls out or comes out a bit; I replaced the in-ear fit with a larger piece, and the fit is better now but still not perfect (and not as good as the fit was with the 535). Overall, the way the Shure earphones fit in general feels awkward and not ideal. Still, once you get used to managing the fit they are good and am happy with the purchase as I'm happy to trade off a bit of convenience for quality sound and these may be the best bang for the buck in terms of quality.

Purchased the SE530's years ago and were the best Shure had at the time. Saw the 845's for a great price a few months ago. After listening to these since, the 845 is a strong step up in the depth and nuance. Definite way better low bass. From deep bass to treble is very even and clear. The only compliant is the BT-1 bluetooth. There is a large amount of compression where at least a 30% drop in overall sound. The resultant sound is like a $100 chinese knockoff ear buds. Other than the BT-1, watch the price and get these and stick with a direct wired connection.

Sound quality, and sound stage affect is amazing. In ear fit could be better in comparison with the Westone IEMs . It is expensive though, so not for the faint of heart.

They sound great! Went from customs to these. The band liked the full sound coming from them for their IEMs. Big difference from the 535s
