Bought this for my girlfriend’s daughter - she loves to have “dance parties” in the game room. It’s really neat and fun to use. I deliberately purchased the battery operated one because you can use a power cord with it but she can also take it from room to room or house to house easily. The patterns are fun and the light far exceeded my expectations. She loves it. I didn’t think the sound activation worked but I tried putting my Bluetooth speaker next to the light and it does, indeed, work. It’s a brilliant little entertainment light. I am considering getting one for myself because it seems unexpectedly relaxing to listen to music in my sitting room with the sound activation on.

Got this for my son he loves to come home after school so I thought he'd enjoy this and he does! We've been using since Christmas and have not needed to charge it yet, he loves that you can move it around! The remote works greatOnly thing I can say is a downside is you can hear the motor in it if it's quiet, but he doesn't really use it when it's quiet so not really a big deal!

This light rocks! It's large and bright enough to fill my apartment's living and dining room with cool ambient light. Not sure if it kept rhythm to music or not, but we didn't care for that feature anyway. I purchased this for my cheerleader niece who ADORES it! She loves dancing with it on and just lighting her room. The biggest question was: Buy the one with batteries or the one with a traditional electrical plug? I chose this one to give my niece more options for its use; she knows how to use the USB cord to save her batteries if needed. One tip: Buy Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries. She's been using her light a few times a week since Christmas (and everyday from Christmas til New Year's Day) with no battery issues. I find them best for items like these.

To have a sound activated/responsive, remote controlled 'party light' for this price is pretty impressive. That said, it's a bit flimsy and I noticed the motorized motion of the light isn't 100% smooth. There is a bit of a stutter when the light is circling, barely noticeable unless you're looking for it. But really, if you're expecting more for this price, you're a bit unreasonable. A real fun toy.

I wish I'd bought 2-3 of these instead of just one. It works great, is sound activated so it strobes with the music you are playing. It's an inexpensive item, so don't be disappointed that the quality is lacking slightly. The panel that holds the batteries in is loose, but it doesn't affect the function. I'd still buy it again.

Didn't figure out the suction but didnt need it. Well worth the money for the bachelorette weekend. It made it feel like a party the entire time and really took it to the next level. Love that you can change the light combo and speed of rotation with the remote. It has red green blue and different combos of those like blue green, red green, blue red. Hard to show exactly how nice it was in the photos I took, but you need this thing! Plan to use the red green combo around christmas for parties too!

It does a fine display. That's not the problem.There were two problems. First, it has a motor, and that used up batteries in about 20 minutes (freshly charged rechargeable AA batteries). I used rechargeable batteries, because if I can't recharge the power source, I don't want it. I switched to an external power battery pack, and the micro-usb connection was very delicate. I had to shake the connection around a bit to get it to work, and after that, the slightest movement, such as setting it on the ground, would cause it to disconnect. I returned it.

Alright guys. This thing is freakin wicked. BUY IT. Stop hesitating and just do it. It’s so cheap and it’s amazing!! I’ve been using it during quarantine and it has made rave nights to virtual festivals SOOOO much more fun and dare I say realistic. Lol but seriously. The sound activation to music is something I discovered week 2 into owning this jewel, and it’s life changing. Is it quarantine? Or is it this light that’s changing my life. Hard to say. I don’t think you should leave that up to quandary any longer and just go ahead and purchase the miracle light. Honestly.... get 2. Get 3!!!! You will not be sorry.
