When they work, they work great. I bough 8 of these and 5 of them work perfectly. No spillage if a bottle is laid down and even keeps the pressure on a bottle of prosecco. However, with the other three, as soon as I pressed them down, they completely fell apart and parts of the rubber and plastics dropped into the wine bottle. It’s not a massive problem as it doesn’t change the taste (it’s not like it can be corked from a bit of plastic) however when you find a bit of the bottle stopper in your glass of wine, you end up just glad you noticed it before you swallowed it. I’d give a 3/5 as, even though some of them are defective, the ones that actually do work, work flawlessly.

Much easier to use than the pump ones and appears to be just as effective. Not very strong but cheap enough to replace when necessary.

Good value for money, nice looking and easy to use. Handy for those who are lucky enough not to have emptied their wine bottle.

Really pleased with this, having found it difficult in the past to find ones which actually work! Fits most bottles well, easy to put on and off and hasn't rusted, which was my concern with a metal stopper.

Does a great job as would be expected

Fitted one wine bottle which had a cork but not one which had a screw cap. I suppose you could always replace a screw cap and only use this Bottle Stopper for bottles with corks

In less than a year of ownership the pair have broken. Avoid.

Broke during first use, 2nd one still going at the moment.
