Just what I needed for my small apartment
Great size for my kitchen island, and easy to roll up and store. perfect thickness, doesn't slide around on the counter. I use the iron for my crafts and ironing those rare clothing items. Great quality

Great for quilters
I have a long narrow card table and put this on top so I don’t have to jump up to iron each quilt piece as in sewing. I just swing my chair around and iron at the table. Makes it super handy. I love it!

Put a towel under this
Using this for the first time with a steam iron today to iron curtains. I lifted up the mat because it felt a little damp. The steam had gone through the mat to the table top and the paint was bubbling. It's a craft table that's pretty beat up. Had it been something nicer, I would have been really upset. I will come back if I remember if the towel doesn't stop this, but I would take this as a big caution and/or don't use high steam. I have it on max because I am ironing white cotton. Otherwise, this is a great way to iron curtains if you have a big table.

I love this set, it was a great deal and it's nice to have the extra pieces like the iron mat and the ironing protector. This is really handy to use because I have a lot of large things like curtains to iron so this is great. I don't have an ironing board and don't need one with this. It takes up a lot less space than an ironing board and works great on my kitchen island !
