Lid cracked and broke after 6 months of occasional use
Nice little pot but they need to make the lid from a better product. I did have a lot of coffee grounds in my cup. I think I need a finer insert but I probably lost the other pieces that came with it. I will buy a different product in the future

I really like to double filter identify 5 star's
I wrote a review in a put it in the wrong place this is regarding to the coffee press I love it dearly I had one once before but it was a double filter I found out quite a few things this time one is the lid when you're done pouring your coffee twist it so there'll be no air be getting into it the second thing I found out what this is with the devil filter you don't get coffee grounds in whatsoever now the finer coffee like Express so I don't think so I didn't in my old one and only had one filter and I will say this if you do twist your top at the top of the coffee my coffee last over an hour and it's hot and I use hot water from a kettle I never used hot tap water if you're in a bottle of water poured in your kettle and I washed mine at every time I use it I give this a 5-star I like the Devil filters and I put two scoops in if you're strong coffee person if you're not I would Market down the one scoop this is an update I did forget to tell you one thing about the Press this is a little inside scoop for you for the ladies or men I'm a retired person who worked in a restaurant even though the coffee press is glass and it's tempered here's a little inside for you for everything you pouring hot water into your fine china like your coffee pot or your tea pot or anyting put a stainless steel spoon and to whatever glass you're pouring hot water into it will not break no matter what I can guarantee you that always put a spoon into anything Fine China whatever while you putting hot water and it will not crack or breakUpdate on the coffee press for some people who eyes are not that great when they're a little older I have a suggestion all right on my copy press the word the pouring spout is on the filter inside well the Great I advise if it because mine's dark and I cannot see to turn how far around the great is toopoor Mark the outside of the lid where it's at and the pouring spout on then you'll never have to wait the reason why is you want to close that spout so the heat stays in that's my suggestion Mark the lid might not look so nice but for elderly people in myself it's a good idea

If you love coffee, this is the pot for it. I urge you to buy one! You'll thank me for the advice.
I drink about one liter of coffee every morning. I suppose there are good brands of ready-ground coffee, but I prefer to grind my own blend of Columbian beans each day, which provides me with the richest possible flavor. A coffee pot such as Chemex and Mr. Coffee, etc that uses a through filter misses a lot of the grace notes of the grounds; the water only passes through them, rather than having the grounds sit and "steep" in the hot (not boiling!) water. With this French Press pot, I let the grounds steep for about 4 minutes in the super-hot water, thus bringing out the full flavor of the freshly-ground beans. The only drawback is that I have to add a paper coffee filter to the pot's own press-down screen, because my coffee grinder creates a lot of fine residue which the pot's wire screen filter cannot hold back. Trust me on this ... freshly-ground beans and this French Press pot make an irresistible beverage. If, like me, you are a true coffee aficionado, I strongly recommend this French Press pot. It produces an unbeatable brew. And, by the bye, coffee "beans" are not beans, like pinto beans, black-eyed peas, etc. They are the seeds of the red or purple cherry-like fruit of certain shrubs and trees in Africa and Central America (see "Coffea" in Wikipedia).

Awesome Quality But Cheap Price. Love It!
I love this French Press. I've Used It Many Times Now To Make Coffee& The Coffee Was So Good. I Am Yet To Make Hot Cocoa& Tea On It Thou. But I Will Be Trying That Soon. I Love That It Came With All The Extras. I was searching& Researched For The Best Quality, But Very Affordable French Press. At First I Found The Hamilton Beach French Press Which I Loved. However, When I Receive After Waiting For While The Metal Part Was Not Attached& It Was Diminished, So I Send It Back& Then I Looked For Another French Press For I Was Set On A French Press. I Wanted One, So I Finally Decided On This One& I Am So Glad I Did Cause It Is Awesome. I love It.

Delicious Coffee
My husband and I own several types of coffee makers; keurig, drip, espresso machine, percolator, and French presses... we are kinda obsessed and like to change up the routine in the morning. Our last French press cracked so it was time I ordered another and it did not disappoint. I'm hoping this one won't crack like the other because of the metal casing protecting the glass... it came with 2 extra filters and a bonus of a mini hand blender/frother, a pitcher and some useful tools. It made some delicious strong coffee and the little frother was so much easier than getting out my huge espresso machine, how did I not discover them before? If you're obsessed with coffee, try this French press.

Brews AND Fluffs
Our French press hit the dust and the feature about this one that sold me was its resistance level and warranty. Didn't realize the little electric milk foamer would be such an added attraction. As long as you don't use the metal cup included to warm the milk in the microwave (Yikes!) and don't try to fluff your milk in it--the foamer works great in a deeper. wider (I use ceramic so it can go from microwave to foaming right away) cup. The little metal cup overflows easily. Don't know why the maker included so many rather unnecessary items--a little curvy spoon, a sectioned sponge, a long spoon and the useless metal cup. They could have pleased just as well--which is greatly--without the gee-gaws. But we love this press, the metal filter and the resulting coffee.
