I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse and it came in half flattened by a Forklift most likely and unusable BUT and I say but it was an amazing Fishing Rod in build quality and comfort. It has eyelets every 8 to 10 inches roughly and was the most comfortable and lightweight Baitcasting Rod I’ve ever handled. I couldn’t afford a new one so I gave it a shot but no dice Lol. I would Love to be able to get another one and I highly recommend this if you can afford it, if it had Quantum or Daiwa on the side instead of Cadence it would be 150 dollars plus. I’ve been Fishing for over 4 decades also. Semper Fidelis

Seems pretty stout for a light rod. I hooked a Catfish but was not targeting them. My reel got stressed for sure. This rod help up when I thought it could snap.

Purchased berkley cherrywood over the winter, first time I used it, snapped like a twig when I got snagged. Trying this cadence rod now, first thing you notice is how lite the rod is. I threw about a dozen plugs with it today and seems like a great rod. Hope it remains durable.

I got this rod dirt cheap with the Used-like new option. It’s a great rod. Nice backbone, very light and great quality except for the grips of the EVA handle I just don’t like personally. I like cork or Winn grips myself but I guess I’m spoiled. I would return it but like I said…DIRT CHEAPIf you don’t mind foam grips this would be a great choice. Other than that, great item

Finesse fishermen and BFS enthusiast… get the 6’ 10” medium light!!!It’s more of a light power rod with an extra fast action. On my first outing I was able to cast 1/16 and 1/10 oz jig heads with a ned rig worm with ease! Pair it up with a capable finesse reel and you’ll have so much fun! It made fighting panfish feel like 1 pound bass and 1 pound bass like five pounders!!From bouncing ned rigs off the bottom to slow dragging finesse jigs and worms, the rod was very sensitive! It is also very light and comfortable to hold and cast.Good price. Fast shipping. Extremely careful packaging. I bought this rod with my own hard earned money and I will recommend this rod to anyone and everyone.

I would put this rod up against any in the same length and weight rating as any other!!Superior construction along with highly detailed features plus the robust mounted eyelets make it as good as any "$100.00+ rod you can buy..Try one for yourself.. I promise you will be surprised at the great quality!!If Cadence started asking $100+ ea, i wouldn't be surprised considering the quality! Plan to buy a 6.9MH for a Shimano Anteres D.C coming in the future or a CR7B one. Either way it will be a "CADENCE"!!!!

I was new to bait casting gear and I had no idea what to buy. After many hours of research I decided that this would be best so I paired it with a cb5 reel. And boy, was this a good combo. The rod provides extreme sensitivity so I fell the smallest of bites and even better casting distance. I was very satisfied with my purchase and would 100% recommend Cadence and ALL of their products. Great job Cadence!

The 7' Cadence Rod is perfect for my new bait caster reel. I love the feel of the rod and the action that it has!!!
