Definitely worth every penny. Best work pants I've ever had. Water beads off quickly. Plenty of pockets and comfortable to wear when you have to get up and down on the floor all day.

Had a black pair that has lasted over a year of automotive parts work with no issues. Ordered a khaki pair. The rear/side pockets are perfect for my pistols with side clips.

Probably sized incorrectly. Other people also left reviews that these pants are often sized incorrectly. I am size 36 or 38 in all other brand of pants. My two other pair of 511's are size 38 and fit lose. I need a belt to keep them snug. I received this pair of 38s and I could not even button them. This pair of "38s" are definitely 34s. If they were even 36 inches I would be able to button them but they would be tight. They are nice looking and appear to be well made except for the faulty sizing.

When I bought my first pair of these 5.11 Tactical Men's Taclite Pro pants I struggled to pay the higher price but I finally broke down and did it. These are the only pants I have worn ever since! I save two pair for "dress" and the rest I wear for anything and everything else. They hold up to everything I have put them through and they have seen some serious activity. The only tear I have had was done by a slip of my utility knife. The only pairs I have ever gotten rid of are the ones that ended up too big for me when I lost some weight so they went to Good Will and I will bet they are still going strong. This company makes other styles of pants and I was tempted to try one of those with my latest "downsize" but a couple of reviews mentioned seams tearing etc. I order this same 5.11 Tactical Men's Taclite Pro pant and I am happy to report nothing has been down graded with these. A lot of my work has been up on ladders a long way from my tools. When it is only minor adjusting that the equipment needs these save the need for a tool belt. Two huge back pockets and 6... yes... 6 front pockets. There is also a slot for some thin built in knee pads but with my size if I need knee pads I need serious knee pads. I used to buy the big name less expensive cargo pants which lasted about 6 months if I was lucky. I have never had a pair of these wear out. I know for a fact they outlast at least 10 pair of the "name brand" bargains. To put it another way... AWESOME PANTS! My only complaint is that they areN'T sold directly by Amazon so it takes a while for them to arrive. (Hint Hint Amazon) You can by them direct from the company and a couple pair will get you free shipping from them. Did I mention... AWESOM PANTS!

I don't know what happened to 511 tactical's size index but these do not size quite right. For the price I paid you would think they could afford measuring tape. I had to return.
