ASICS Mesh Backpack

I had this same bag in highschool for wrestling and someone stole it, I was so excited to get another one to hold my gear for MMA and Submission grappling. It holds my head gear, cloths, gloves (16oz), MMA gloves, ankle wraps, mouth guards, my shin pads (velcoed to the strap) and then stupid stuff like my wallet and phone.I spray my gear down when it smells, and i throw the whole bag into the wash when it got the super funk.For the durps who keep complaining about the straps being to small...pull it on one side and SUDDENLY its a one strap backpack!... I figured that out as a freshmen in highschool, whats good with the endless line of GROWN adults whinning like babies cause it doesnt fit them...will admit that it does seem cheap and it could fall apart but, what are you gunna do about it; staples, tap, blah blah...its ghetto but hey if youll ducktape a broken punching bag why not a stupid mesh bag? I toss mine around and its fine...i guess im lucky.I def would and do recommend this bag. (SUGGEST BLACK, seems like when people try to get fancy, they are left disappointed)

I ordered this bag in Sept for a festival concert I was going to in October and we needed a mesh bag to carry around. It was much bigger than I expected. We were able to fit quite a bit of stuff inside (at one point we had 2 t-shirts, a large metal cup, keys, 2 pairs of sunglasses glasses, 2 ponchos, a few small odds and ends, and still had room..) I was leary after seeing sturdiness issues.. After I got it, I tugged and pulled on all the seams and where the straps were sewn in and it doesn't pop easily. We were in mosh pits with many people around us jumping and pushing. Came home with bag completely in tact and we were hard on the bag. I'd order this again if I needed another one. Straps aren't the most comfortable but not unbearable.

I bought the light pink - because like many things from Amazon the unpopular colors are much less expensive then the popular colors of the same item. I would have preferred a darker color, but was not about to pay twice as much to get it.That being said - it is great for what I bought it for - to lug 2 large microfleece towels - swimsuit - 2 hair wraps - 2 goggles - 2 swim caps - hairbrush - shampoo - conditioner - swim snorkel - cell phone and car keys to and from lap swimming 5 days a week.The polyester mesh and solid bottom is strong enough to hold my swim stuff, even when wet - though I would not suggest anyone to carry really heavy stuff, like the weights one reviewer complained it wasn't strong enough to carry, in it.I had been carrying a large beach bag to swimming, but being elderly and disabled, the extra weight and size of the beach bag made it a hassle. This mesh bag adds no extra weight, and is just the right size. For me, it is perfect for the use I put it to. What more can one ask?

I understand the bag is cheap so you really can't expect a lot but this leaves a lot to be desired.- The draw string and the shoulder straps are one piece going to each side making it hard to have the straps even when you wear it. I gave up after a few tries to even them and just hold it on one shoulder.- The draw strings are so snug in the pull top that the bag does not open very well. Seems minor but when you enter and leave the gym and you spend time tugging on the bag to open and close it becomes irritating.- After about one and a half months going to the gym the bottom of one of the straps where the mesh connects to the solid bottom of the bag had a blow out. I walk the half mile to and from the gym with an iPad and a pair of gym shoes in the bag so nothing heavy to cause a blow out and I had to have it repaired.All in all this bag is not worth the money.

My kids are required to use clear backpacks this year in school and I bought these because they were a little cheaper. They are nice bags, but not for what I needed. The corners of their folders and books get caught on the mesh all the time, and there is a rip in one of the bags already. (We've been using them for about a week.) So, the bags are OK but not ideal for school.

I bought this bag for swimming at the gym. I use it to hold my swim gloves, cap, earplugs, and goggles. It can hold a lot of stuff but I use it to hold the damp stuff so nothing gets moldy or smelly. The top closes when you pull the drawstring handles (no zip) though there is a little zippered pouch to hold keys or I.D. on the front. I don't put my swim fins in as I don't want it to rip (not sure if they're too heavy.) A really nice bag that weighs nothing and keeps your stuff in one place. The price is great and I couldn't find anything like it in any retail store...Amazon rocks again!

I was very pleased with this purchase. I didn't pay attention to the description to see that there was a front zipper pocket that is a great place to hold deoderant for my daughter. The quality of the bag is unreal. The price was the best price for this type of bag. Better than your normal mesh bags. The bag doesn't close completely when you pull the strings but I sometimes find the bags that close completely are harder to open. I purchased this because my daughter had to have a mesh bag or clear see through bag for PE for school. I also had her Monogram done on the front where the zipper part is. I use this bag for my swim stuff... it holds a bath towel, and hand towel, my suit, a small bag of shower stuff, a small bag of makeup, my goggles, a brush, and still has a little room for other small misc. items like flip flops if you need it. The pocket is solid on the top, but you can see through it on the back since it is just a piece of material sewn to the mess bag. Works great for holding my wallet, cell phone and keys though. I love this bag - especially for the price. It is bigger than it looks in the picture, so I hope my description of the contents it holds will help you understand the size.
