Lightweight trimmer that makes short work of grass under hedges
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to cut the grass underneath a 75-foot hedge line, and it’s done the job really well. The battery runs for over an hour on a full charge, which is more than enough for my needs. Charging only takes a few hours, so it’s ready to go again the same day.Performance• Cuts cleanly and handles grass and light trimming with no effort. (Video: unit in use cutting grass)• Battery gives over an hour of use, slightly more than the listed 50 minutes.Design• Supplied with handle, cutter head, and an extra-long blade. (Photo 1: handle, cutter, and blade laid out)• Compact and easy to control, with both top and side profiles showing solid build quality. (Photo 2: top view of cutter, Photo 3: side view)• The handle works well but could be a little longer — depending on ground level, you may end up stooping for extended jobs.Pros• Battery life better than advertised• Easy to swap between trimmer and shear• Compact and lightweightCons• Handle could be longer for taller hedges or awkward ground• Not suited for heavy shrubs (best for grass and light trimming)VerdictEasy to use, quick to recharge, and well-suited for grass under hedges and lighter jobs. For the price, it’s a very handy little tool. Hope this helps if you’re considering it too.(Photo 1: handle, cutter, and extra-long blade)(Photo 2: top view of cutter)(Photo 3: side view of cutter)(Video: trimmer in action cutting grass)

Simple but effective
I like this machine. It is easy to use. The long handle is useful when you are just keeping the edging short no good on long grass. The hedge trimmer is brilliant used it a lot. The battery life is very good also rarely charge it.

Good build quality, Lightweight, Good battery life. Sharp & Cuts well. Recommended.
I needed something to trim the edged of my lawn where the mower cant reach, & something with a bit more finesse than my Strimmer which can butcher my lawn unless Im very carefull, & I wanted something a bit beefier than a 3.6V cordless trimmer & saw this with good review.A little sceptical at first, as I had never heard of this brand, & I didnt know whether to save money & buy the vesrion without the extension arm, or get thsi oneUnit came pre-charged, but in the end I opted for this one with the extension arm.I've only used this once so far, for about 25 minutes , so I cant comment on longevity, but these are my intital thoughts after 1st use....Overall build quality is pretty good, & all the pieces seems well made & fit together well. The trimmer unit is very light & comfortable to use use a a hand-held.The extension arm & wheeled base is very light, & works really well, which is great for ease of use, but I dont think it would stand up to much rough abuse. However, treat it with a bit of respect & it should last for yearsThe trimmer attachements are sharp & work well trimming grass edges.Battery light is great for such a small lightweight unit.Bear in mind this is only intended for LIGHT use, so dont purchase this if you are looking to trim you established hedge. However it does works really well on lawn edges, soft "green" branches / shoots up to 4-5mm thick, & harder "Brown "branches" up to about 2-3mm thick.Blade swapping was a tad on the fiddley side, but only took me about 20 seconds, so nothing major. For lightweight use its brillinat & glad I spent the extra on the Externsion arm model, as save me bending down all the time.I do wonder how the 3.6 Volt models would cope. Maybe they're ok & work well, but I didnt want to take the chance they werent up to the job, So I spent the extra for this 7.2 Volt model, & Im glad I did as I wouldnt want a trimmer to be any less powerfull than this, even if it is only for light tasks.Anyway.... Im very please with my purchase & I would recommednd this to others.

Making gardening easier on back
Found hedge cutter not suitable for thick hedging (too light weight for dense cutting) However edge cutter great. Cut around shrubs and flowers no problem. Easy to recharge. Hedge cutter really not good. Edge trimmers great

Good little machine
I got this because I find the strimmer too heavy after a while, and it gets caught in our wire fence. The grass shears are great for cutting any long grass that’s been a bit neglected but the finish isn’t as neat as I’d like along flower bed borders. The tidiest finish for this is using a weeding knife to define the edge and clear away any errant bark/stones, then using grass scissors to cut the edges back. Although it’s time consuming, it’s not so bad if you’re down there weeding anyway, and to get the best results you have to put a little effort in!These shears are lightweight, easy to use and switch blades and the handle is handy for long distances. It’s not something that has drastically changed my life so I probably wouldn’t buy again. It just doesn’t do anything the grass scissors wouldn’t do, and actually grass scissors are tidier and don’t require charging!I’m sure it’ll be useful on the odd occasion and the hedge trimmers would be useful for someone needing to shape bushes (i just don’t have many bushes in my garden)Good value for money and seemingly well made
