Shipped fast, seems new, and works amazing! Shorter blade set ups ordered to compliment.Here's the long version:On the up side: This saw came in perfect working order, packed as new in plastic bag/original boxing, and looks as new. The blades, guide and footplate were all BOSCH brand, sealed, and new. I even question how used used is.On the down side: Both of the Allen screws that hold the blade retaining plate had heads that none of my wrenches fit securely; maybe stripped or just poor quality? It was missing one of the washers for these also. The rolling base plate did not have the tensioning bolt to grab the blade guide.Overall: It went together easily enough and fired right up, both blades churning opposite each other. It cut through foam easily and cleanly. It followed curves gracefully. I'm familiar with the Hercules brand as it's carried by the local discount tool store, Harbor Freight. They don't offer this saw; believe me, I checked lol. I did have some apprehension about investing this heavily into a known discount brand but figured it's only cutting foam and rubber; it's not like I'm using it on 4x4 lumber daily. I sought one like this... actually the Bosch (which is discontinued) then the Consew. There's a few others out there but research told me that only these 3 offered *dual reciprocating* blades. The others only one even though they have two. I am confidant dual reciprocating blades would provide the cleanest cuts and not have a tendency to catch the foam with the stationary blade. Does this do the same thing as the electric turkey knife but costs 20-30x more? Absolutely. Is it totally worth it? Absolutely. This cuts razor clean and the baseplate helps keep your vertical plane true. Cutting upholstery foam, it surely won't tax the hefty motor and should last the rest of my career. Let's hope anyways. I considered purchasing a bandsaw for far less but this is portable and gives a lot of flexibility of where you can use it. It also tucks away in my toolbox drawer; not consuming the space or creating the noise and mess a tabletop bandsaw would. All in all, I'm pleased so far. Here's to hoping for years of satisfaction!

It dose its job, but makes a bit of noise doing it. My bigger concern is this uses an on/off switch located on the side of the body. With 6 -12 inches of dual reciprocating blades exposed, for safety reasons, and ease of use, a locking trigger mechanism or paddle switch would be better. It takes two hands to hold the tool and turn it on or off. When you're wrangling large thick pieces of foam, you almost need two people to work safely.

Machine works similar to the Bosch same style and look. But the Bosch has faster rpm's and thus it will cut faster thru thicker material. Other than the RPM's very little difference at all. Parts even look as to be interchangeable from Bosch to this machine.

Blade guide bends easily. Probably the operators fault.

Bought this for my upholstery shop and it was $50 less than my upholstery suppliers were selling the same foam.cutter. Highly recommended 👌.

This cutter only lasted 2 months in our upholstery shop. Just not powerful enough for every day use.

Wasn't able to find this handy tool anywhere else but Amazon...

Poorly built, attempt to copy a good cutter. Entire inside of unit is broken. The parts to replace the insides will cost more than entire cutter. Not worth the costI thought it was like the Bosch cutter we used to have (Made to look the same) which lasted 25 years.Disappointing waste of money
