Smells and spews kernel everywhere
Got this to replace a dead Cuisinart air popper that lasted almost a decade. When it first arrived I turned it on and it smelled like burning plastic. So I ran it without an popcorn in it for a few minutes to try to get rid of the smell. It never really went away. Tried to make a bowl of popcorn, but the silo for the kernels is very shallow, and the fan is a little too much for the depth - so it just spit kernels out. Ended up with a little more than half of bowl of popcorn that old Cuisinart used to fill up - the reason? There was a layer of the kernels that were blown out at the bottom of the bowl. This was returned and we spent the extra money on a new Cuisinart - it works far better for a few more dollars.

Popping Popcorn at Home Has Never Been This Easy!
I absolutely love my Blue OPOLAR Air Popper Popcorn machine. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, it is not a miracle machine in a sense that you will have some unpopped kernels but you have this same issue when popping popcorn over the stove. What I love most about this machine is that it is easy to clean afterwards, I don't have to use any grease, and my popcorn taste great! In addition, it is not bulky, and thus, makes it easy to store away in a pantry or cabinet after each use. The machine does get hot afterwards, but what do you expect, it takes some heat to pop the kernels . . . like I said before, it is not a miracle machine but does the trick and with great ease.

NOT heat resistant!
Soo I bought this is April of this year. It is currently September. The clear plastic top part is not heat resistant, it has completely warped and no longer fits correctly.

Kids love it!
Super easy. Put in two scoops (before reading directions) and worked perfectly. Towards the end some kernals shot out. Made enough for 4 hungry kids.

Ok but didn’t last
We’ve had this about 10 months and it’s now not getting hot enough to pop the kernels. Up till now it’s been a good unit.

My 9 year old daughter loves it! She said it was the best birthday present ever!
