Works just fine
Bought a new Sirius receiver for my B7 A4 that had two antenna plugs but my car only has one antenna so this. Had to trim little tabs off so it would clip but still only took a few minutes. Don't know if it made a difference, had antenna plugged to one of the plugs at first then installed this but same reception.

Works great but needs modification...
Would have given it five stars if not for the fact that it needed some modification. I could not get this thing to work at all after an hour of trying. I finally came to the reviews here and someone said something about trimming the plastic end down as it wouldn't make good contact. Well after getting my razor knife out and trimming about 1/8" off the end of the purple connector it finally came on and I could get the tuner activated. It has been working flawlessly for over a month now with no loss of signal.

This saved me some serious money!
I was disappointed when the Sirius radio in my 2008 MX-5 quit working. Talking to the dealership I was told it would be in the neighborhood of $300 to fix it. I don't live in that neighborhood. I started my own troubleshooting expedition and quickly found that the Sirius unit was installed incorrectly by the dealership, and the splitter and antenna were both damaged. I read up on what is available as a replacement for my vehicle and basically came to my own conclusion that the parts are very generic, with the notable exception of the plastic interlock/connectors.I decided to by this splitter and a $10 replacement antenna. My thinking was that if possible I would use adapters to kludge it all together if possible, and if not, I was gambling $50 vs $300. Seems like a good bet to me. Anyway, the parts came and I was delighted to see that the physical connection is exactly the same regardless what plastic clip is attached. I did not install the plastic "shoes" on the pigtails, and I did have to trim back the pink connector in order to get the antenna to fit.The best part was turning on the Sirius and having it work after 6 months without it. If yours is broken you should take a look at the parts in your system, and have a look at these. It worked for me and might work for you too eh? Good luck!

Great to have if your trying to hook up and old XM system to a new XM antenna!
If you have an old XM unit, such as an Older pioneer XM unit, this will allow you to install the new type of XM antennas. Very simple to use.

Doesn't work as advertised
I hooked this up to a dual xm receiver from a single antenna. I can run one receiver through their splitter but not both so I tried to get tech support. After much frustration I finally was told to add a amplifier (another product of theirs). I bought the amp which had zero effect. I bought a second antenna and pitched the splitter and amp of theirs to solve my problem. Now both receivers work great but I wasted $50 bucks and a lot of time. Don't buy this product.

works well
The new satellite antennas do not have split leads like the old antennas. You will need this splitter if installing a new antenna into an old receiver that requires two connections. This adapts the new (pink) lead and splits it into two (green / yellow).

XM Antenna Single to dual.
Installed in a 2008 Audi A4. Car radio has SAT button. Installed older but much less expensive Sirus radio head. (the sat radio was under $50 New! Which had dual antenna inputs. The single antenna radio was or is selling for over $150. The car had factory install sat antenna with single output.I had to shave down a guide on the splitter and one of the guides on the non green input. Easy to do with a sharp knife or box cutter. The reception has improved with cleaner stereo signals on most channels.Do not flex the output connectors before installing plastic guides. They break easy.

Doesnt work in 2014 Silverado
I tried to use this to split the XM signal on my 2014 Silverado but the signal strength was not strong enough if both leads are plugged into two different receivers. Even if one receiver is powered off, the antenna signal is still too weak to be used. I now have to unplug the antenna from my head unit and plug my portable XM receiver into that in order to use the factory antenna. I would return this but I had to cut off the purple connector to get this to plug into my antenna connector.
