Mark Richard 1/2 Pieces 57 Inches Professional Handmade Snooker Cue Package

Received an item in the mail, it was well packaged, arrived in two days, went out to play and was impressed by the feel of it and balance but there is one disappointed, it's not straight and true, the final 4 inches wobble about 1/4 inch.

The shaft is much smaller than your typical pool cue, so it's less forgiving in terms of miscues, accuracy, English, etc. As such, I've had to step up my game to pick up the slack. The cue itself isn't improving my game, but it has forced me to think more and take greater care in each shot, which has made me a better player.The cue itself came arrow straight, but notably the joint is not centered. The two pieces align properly when fully screwed together, so this wasn't an issue. Additionally, the splicing on the butt wasn't aligned properly, resulting in some material sticking out. This was easily trimmed off with a knife. Other than that, it's great! The small, very soft top gets great English with no mushrooming or deformation. The shaft is very smooth but easily dented so take care not to drop it. Bumper is a tad hard so again, don't drop it.

I Like this cue, it is well balanced, but the annoying thing is that the cue fell off by itself while playing in just under 4 months of use. I understand that overtime these tings happened but the repair cost is almost equals to buying a new one. Wondering if only the top part can be purchased instead of going through the pain of repairing the cue.

Feels great, straight, and smooth. I did soften the tip to provide greater friction to the cue ball. Definitely a keeper.

It says it's a Mark Richard cue but what comes to me is Chinese cue with Chinese brand on it "not Mark Richard".

Good for the price. However, in the first time use after a couple of shots the screwed tip fell off. You need to make sure the tip is tightened before making each shot! I think the cue is good for short term.

Plays nicely enough, although you will probably want to replace the tip. However, I have returned 3 of these cues due to quality control issues. The first was barely straighter than a banana; the second and third had vastly different colour wood for the two pieces, which I found really distracting in play. Granted that this is a £28 and you get what you pay for, but I think there are better cues out there for the money.

I purchased this for my partner's birthday, it looks really nice but after a couple of weeks using it the top fell off, the extreme part used to get the balls (sorry I have no idea how it's called) and he had to glue it back so I will not be buying again

Great cue for the money all my mates thought it was more expensive

I bought this for my husband and he has been playing pool for years and said this is one of the best he has had :)

Very disappointed with the Tip , I will retourned to seller because is not fit for porpose and i'm not spending more money to change the Tip and get brooked after first used .

brilliant buy and nice weight to it, i never review but this i had to, my game has improved greatly, case is flimsy and poor material but who really cares, can easily be replaced, superb value for money! id nearly buy another one just for the hell of it

Not the best cue ever. My one piece is a Peradon, so totally different league. But for £200 or so less, it is a truly great bargain

this was a substitute for the cue i ordered from amazon. the cue is good but the tip needs immediate replacing. the cue i ordered had a one year guarantee but still havent heard from amazon whether this one has. it plays well enough and is good value for money
