Ultimate Mixing Bowls with Non-Slip Base, Set of 3 Assorted Sizes, White

Very useful . . . . .I cannot say enough great things about these bowls. I bought every size bowl this brand sells. Really love the Cali 3 low profile nesting bowls with the flat bottoms. . . .they are larger and fantastic! I own the 28 ounce set of 4 low profile bowls and these that I am doing the review on. Never enough Cali bowls in my home. . . .love them! This set comes in various sizes. I use it for everything imaginable in the kitchen. From mixing baked goods, to making a family salad, to using as popcorn bowls. I have not had any problems with washing them in the dishwasher. They have a few small scratches on the bottom of the bowls from use. . . . .really to small that I should not even had mentioned it. As for the previous review on Amazon on how they chip and crack . . . . .I don't know what the hell they are talking about. These don't chip or break? What are they doing . . .throwing the bowls against a wall! LOl My 5 grandchildren drop these bowls all the time.. . .durable a 5 star bowl as far as I am concerned! They are break resistant and slip resistant! My husband loves these bowls for his cereal, the corners keep the cereal from dripping when he is eating out of them. I said to my husband why are eating your cereal out of these bowls and not our beautiful Mikasa bowls. . .. . he says just loves these! I would discourage getting them in white because of the reviews saying they stain. I would not know if this does happen and do not have that problem since I purchased them in red. I truly wish them came in a better color assortment. I am not a fan of bold dark colors and not really a fan of the red that I purchased. . . oh well!A great investment for any kitchen at a great price!

Good bowls. I love the blue color, as my kitched is black white and grey and I chose blue dishes and other items to add color.The bowls are very solid, but they do scratch a little. You don't notice it unless you are holding them in your hands.

Pros: Lightweight, microwave safe, non-slip base, shaped to reduce chance of spillover, good color selection if you like bright colors.Big Con: Not as "break resistant" or "chip resistant" as they claim. My first set arrived a month ago with a chunk missing from the bottom lip. The broken piece was still in the plastic bag the bowls came in, and the packaging itself wasn't damaged. A manufacturer's defect, I thought, so I returned them for a replacement. The second set arrived in good condition. I have used the largest bowl, mostly, and I have washed and dried it by hand rather than use the dishwasher. I noticed the other day that there's a small divot and perhaps the beginnings of a crack in the plastic on the outside of the large bowl. I can't even imagine how that could have occurred in the few times I have used it, as careful as I have been. I either missed this when I inspected my replacements or something has damaged this bowl.I would love to know what tests Calibowl performed to be able to claim they're chip and break resistant. That's not been my experience.

I love Calibowl. We have purchased several sets over the years and I was excited to get them in mixing bowl sizes. The material is really impressive and you can go from the microwave to the refrigerator to the dishwasher with no issues. The two features that make the bowls the standout they are are the non-slip bottoms that keep them from getting pushed over and the design of the rim that encourages food to stay on your spoon. As a mixing bowl, this last feature is very nice to have when you are portioning. The color is a bright orange, not a terra cotta like the picture may seem.

We bought these for our son's household for mixing bowls, the kids said they're ok for mixing, but they are FANTASTIC for popcorn! The rim/lip keeps stuff from spilling out!

I like that these bowls have a low center of gravity such that tipping them over by accident is pretty hard to do. We have started getting used to using them during meal preparations for the family. These don't slip around either. If you need them to turn, put a dish towel or a 1/2 sheet of a paper towel underneath them and you'll get the slip (for turning the bowl) that you need.It's easy with silicon or rubber spatula's to scrape out the bowls contents and I love that it is diswasher safe as our diswasher has a sanitize cycle.I did expect the 96oz bowl to be a little larger than it is, but I typically use bowls of many sizes during food prep, so it is okay it's not as large as I thought it would be. The 96oz size is also good for putting out snacks for guests with no worries over the bowl being knocked over (like during superbowl games, lol).

I like these bowls, but they are a bit thick and take some getting used to.
