Mini XLR TA3F Plug

Bought this to replace one of the gaudy headsets that come with the Phenyx Pro 7000 wireless packs. If you need an affordable and pro setup, these will work!

This was a great replacement for my wireless mic system. I have an AKG WS420, and it works perfectly. Much better price range than the MFG suggested replacement

I bought this as an alternative to my Samson SE10 headset mic. The Samson was hard for the choir members to put on and even header to keep on. This solved both issues with sound quality as good or better than the SE10. Samson wants ~$100 for their DE10 and doesn't bundle it with Concert 88/99 wireless systems. The rating would have been 5 stars except it remains to be seen how long it will last.

Light weight, perfect fit, excellent mic

This microphone is very responsive and easy to wear. The size and coloring makes it so people don't easily see I am wearing it. If it weren't for the wire to the transmitter, I would be able to wear it all day. Only concern is that the headband is not expandable for people with large heads. The microphone boom is very adjustable so I can place the mic where it works best. As a fitness instructor it stays in place while running or jumping.

Worked fine the first time. Didn’t work after that. Return window closed yesterday… figures.

The position of the mic can be somewhat tough to adjust as the mic arm has a bit of a spring steel attribute to it, where it doesn't like to be bent and likes to return to it's original shape. It takes a bit of 'finesse' to get it shaped so the mic is where you want it to be. Audio quality is quite good. I'm impressed!

I bought the warranty knowing these are high wear items. It sounded great when it worked. After 1 use, the wire developed a short in it. No luck with the warranty but I'd only had it a couple weeks so I got a replacement quickly. Haven't used it yet. Bought a much better mic instead and will use this as a backup.

Product is good for the price as of the moment using it for almost a month now. The voice is clear works good with the reciever

These headsets are supposed to work with AKG wireless body packs, (PT-45 in my case) but none of the 3 I ordered worked. I needed them right away and couldn’t be sure if replacements would work. After troubleshooting, I discovered that all 3 were missing a jumper between pins 2 and 3 of the 3-pin TA3F connector. After soldering a jumper, ( difficult- the connector is very small as are the hair-thin wires) all 3 microphones work as expected. Unless you have the equipment and skill to fix these, I would avoid purchasing from this vendor.

While the unit is fitted with 3 pin mini XLR plug and goes into an AKG mike pack, It does not work as pin wiring is wrong configuration for PT470 wireless pack.
